    Amazing quality and value!

Pros: Great value, high quality sound, easy to install.

Cons: None if you follow directions.

I installed these last week as front channel speakers for my home theater. Easy, easy, easy to install. I read other reviews and they were MUST pre-run the screws into the drywall tabs prior to installation. Because I did this, I had no problems with the tabs breaking. Basically, pre-running creates threads through the plastic. You've got to hold the tab with your other hand while pre-running the screw. Also, others have said that the template is to small. That is incorrect. If you will notice there are two pre-punched lines on the template. Use the outermost line for making the line for the wall-cut. If you follow that line with your saw, it is a perfect, snug fit.

I have a 20' X 18' basement room with a projector and 5 speaker surround. Very pleased with the sound produced by these speakers. And love the space created by getting rid of my old standup speakers.

Great Sound for a Great Price!

    Pros: Great sound

Cons: Mounting system needs some improvements. The easily become cocked when tightening the screws. I found out that it was better to drive the screws first to make it a little easier for them to tread their way in.

They would have been easy to install if it wasn't for the fact that I had to climb into a very hot attic. I sweated like a pig! It was all worth it since the sound is great and my wife is happy with the flush mount.

    Wall Speakers

Pros: Relative low cost for a good sounding speaker. Like the finish look.

Cons: The Drywall tabs that hold the speaker in the way are a definite issue just like I had read about in the blogs. Make sure you take a screw gun and move the screw back and forth a few times to make screw run easily thru all six tabs. Then make sure the screw is backed out far enough to allow the tab to flop over inside the opening before insertion into wall. Otherwise you run the risk of breaking the tab off with the screw in the wall. Not good. They should really fix this. Don't see this an issue on old work electrical boxes.

I really like the sound coming from these speakers that I set up in a home theater environment.

    Great Speaker For The Price

Pros: Ships fast. Great sound at an economical price. Nice fit and finish. Easy to install

Cons: A few drywall tabs had a tendancy to cross thread and pop out of the holders. Easy to fix!

Just got the speakers and they came quick! Installation was a breeze and the fit and finish was perfect! Installed as a second zone in a game room. Hooked them up to a 100W Yamaha reciever and they sound great! I was very impressed with the sound reproduction. The best $100 speakers I ever owned. Would recommend.

    Review of Installation only

Pros: Not bad installation as long as you prep

Cons: Speaker grill didn't seem very well cut and thus I had a pain getting them to sit right.

First off the installation is a learning curve. Read reviews from people it will save you butt. The template is not very accurate. In fact the instruction for the template is not good at all. I found that if I remove the center piece, small ring and then use the template that was right on. No where in the instructions did it say to remove the small ring. Second thing I highly recommend is to Screw the posts in and out before installing. This will work the threads and help drastically lower the chance of breaking a posts. Also don't over tighten the posts. They will break as they aren't the highest quality but do the job. Use a hand screw driver not a gun. The screws on my unit both where bent up a little upon arrival. It was a pain in the A$$ to get these to sit right. The removal tool is no better than a paper clip trying to get them out.
