Screen Protective Film w/ High Transparency Finish for iPod® Touch 4th Generation

Protect the screen on your 4th Generation iPod® Touch from scratches and fingermarks with a Monoprice protective screen film. This screen protector is sized to perfectly fit your 4th Generation iPod Touch and comes with a High Transparency finish, which allows the full spectrum of colors to shine through in all their original glory.

While the film will adhere to the screen, it will not leave any resins or residue when removed. The packaging includes a lint-free cleaning cloth, to ensure that the screen is clean before applying the film, and an installation card, to help remove any small air bubbles that may occur during application.

    iPod not included!

Apple and iPod are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

    Package includes:

    • Protective screen film
    • Lint-free cleaning cloth
    • Installation card

How to apply the Screen Protective Film to your phone:

    1. Please turn the device off. Clean the surface of the touch screen with the cloth provided in a dust-free environment. Please do not use cleaning agents.
    2. Start by folding down the backing layer. Avoid touching the back of the film, which may leave your fingerprints on it, peel off about an inch. Make sure the adhesive side is facing down.
Note: Removing the backing all at once may cause static that could attract unwanted dust.
    3. Apply the film with adhesive side toward the screen. Align the screen protector with the screen edge and place it in position by applying light pressure to the film at the point of contact (front side).
Work your way across the screen, slowly pulling the backing layer off.
Be sure not to leave any bubbles on the screen surface as you go. If you have any air bubbles when finished, see below.
    4. If you notice bubbles as you go, pull back and retry. If it's caused by dirt, attempt to lightly flick it off or use the sticky side of a piece of tape, (clothes lint roller tape is best).
Use the installation card provided to smooth out any bubbles not caused by dirt. Apply light pressure evenly across the surface until the film is completely adhered. If no dirt is present, very small air bubbles may dissipate in a few days.

Pros: Easy to put on, finger prints wipe off easily and it also helps protect the glass from shattering if it gets dropped.

    Cons: Can't think of any

Can't beat the price and the overall product is good for protection and easily cleans.

Pros: For the price you get a decent protector.

Cons: The specification list you get an Installation card . Which is wrong.

All 10 I ordered did not have an installation card. Contacted support which transferred me to tech told me it does not come with one and offered to refund my money which I declined and just ask for them to update specs. They still have yet to update their specs. Guess I should have taken the money...

    Pros: - Cheap
    - Well made (when you get one that's been properly cut)

Cons: - You may be unlucky in getting a bad batch

Bought 4 of these thinking I could help out my cousins protect their iPod Touches, first one I applied was perfect! Great cut and everything, plus the material itself was more than worth $0.50

However, a while later when I used the rest, the last 3 screen protectors all had a holepunch mark just to the right of the camera cut out...Completely random, and pretty much messed up application when I tried it for one of them.

    Pros: Great Price

Cons: Extra hole in film for no apparent reason??

The film has an EXTRA hole for the front camera that should NOT be there. It is directly to the right about half an inch. I have no idea other than it is a malfunction of the machine that cuts out the holes that should be there. The rest of the item is fine but it is obviously not as advertised??

    Hello Gordo,

I just wanted to clarify the reason for this issue. The extra space that you see by the camera and ear speaker are the actual locations of the “ambient light sensor” and “proximity sensor”. According to Apple, we cannot block this part of the phone so that accounts for the extra space on the protector. So while the protector may look like it is not cut properly. It is actually adhering to Apple’s design specifications and in full compliance of their products requirements. I hope this helps, thank you!

Thanks for the explanation. I thought it was just an error in the cut out machine.
