    Speaker Stand - Silver (SS-01) - Set of 2

Many small satellite speakers have ports on the back, which are designed to improve the bass response. For best sound response, it is usually recommended to mount these speakers about 1-2 feet away from the wall, to allow the ports to work properly.

This speaker floor stand set is designed to let you mount your satellite speakers in an ideal location, away from a wall. The stands are height adjustable from about 26.8" to 43.3", allowing you to mount the speakers at your ear height when sitting. They can hold speakers weighing up to 5 lbs each.

The brackets mount onto speakers with a standard 1/4" x 20 mounting screw or via a keyhole mount. The stand tubes are hollow so that the speaker wires can be hidden within.

Excellent speaker strands for the money. Will work on most small surround sound speakers. Easy to assemble and fast shipping.

    Not very durable

Pros: inexpensive weighted base adjustable height

Cons: not durable needs more size options for included screws

None of the included screws fit my speakers, though it's possible the holes in my speakers are not standard. But the included rubber washers were terrible, and disintegrated when I tightened the mount as instructed. it's possible these may work once I get the properly sized screws from a hardware store, but for now they're $15 paperweights.

    They're OK

Pros: Sturdy. Heavy base. You can run a wire through the post. Mounting piece has three holes.

Cons: The three holes in the mounting piece are weird sizes. As in, the screws provided just fall through.
It comes with a few screws to be different options, but none of them hold my Yamaha speakers steady.
I even tried the rubber washer setup like in the picture (on this site) and it wouldn't even fit in the hole.

You need to be ready to try a few things, and to buy washers and screws at the hardware store.

Pros: Good amount of screws, grommets, and adapters.
    Feels Sturdy.
    Small footprint.
    Great price.

Cons: Will absolutely not support larger speakers at ear level.
Looks kind of cheap, for the price what do you expect.

I bought a pair of these for my computer room to mount some L/R surround speakers. Unfortunately my speakers were way too big and heavy for the stands. My speakers are about 10lbs each so I took a gamble in buying these knowing they're only rated for 5lbs hoping it might work but alas it did not. The stand could hold the speakers at the lowest elevation setting to about 1/3 the way up, but anything above that and the stand would tip over. Oh well that's what I get for trying to cheat the system!

I gave them to my buddy that has a small HTIB setup and he loves them.
