3-Way Easy-Adjust Desktop Monitor Mount, Up to 24 inch - Black
Free space on your desk and gain improved ergonomics by using this Adjustable Tilting Monitor Desk Mount Bracket from Monoprice!
Using a desk mount bracket provides additional desk space by moving the monitor above the desk. It allows you to position your monitor at eye level, which reduces neck/back strain and pain from lengthy sessions in front of the computer.
This mount attaches to the edge of a desk, table, or other horizontal surface with a thickness between 0.3" ~ 2.7" (8.5 ~ 70.0 mm). It fits monitors weighing from 3.3 ~ 11.0 lbs (1.5 ~ 5 kg), with either 75x75 or 100x100 VESA mounting patterns. The monitor can be tilted from -85 ~ +15°, swiveled ±90°, and rotated ±180° for easy portrait/landcape orientation changes. It also features a built-in gas cylinder, which acts as a counterweight to allow the monitor to adjusted vertically, from about 2.4" ~ 15.4" above the mounting point.

I will probably get a few more of these.
A larger version of this one (scaled up 30-50%, say, in reach and height-adjustability) would be a nice option.
PROS: Similar quality to an Ergotron, etc. at one-quarter the price.
PROS: works perfectly, much cheaper than all the other brands selling this EXACT ARM (seriously, I have one of these from another company. it is the exact same thing: same instructions and everything, but the other one has their logo printed on the side. these have no branding on the arm, only on the box. theirs was 2x the price of monoprice's)
CONS: it has a cheaper plastic housing than say an ergotron, but at 1/3rd the price, you really can't complain.
you do have to assemble the base, but that takes about 5 minutes.
it has a more limited range of motion than more expensive models
PROS: Great price, solid, easy to assemble and setup.
CONS: would be nice if it extended higher
I would make the next version of this product with a greater height range.
PROS: Great value for under $50.
Operates as specified.
CONS: Would be better if there were a greater range of heights.
