Deluxe Backlit Keyboard
You can type in the dark without making a mistake using this Deluxe Backlit Keyboard from Monoprice!
This keyboard features blue LED lighting for each key. The light illuminates the letters as well as the edges of each key. The illumination can be turned on and off using a key where the Scroll Lock key normally goes (this keyboard does not have a Scroll Lock key). The USB cable is about 58" long.
PROS: 1. It is bright. I have had four others which are rather dim and don't help much
2. Not only the letters and numbers are lit but the sides of the keys, which makes all the difference.
3. They can be shut off or stay on easily
4. Great price for a backlit keyboard
CONS: Standard keyboard, no extra keys, which I don't use anyway
PROS: Clear legibility on backlit keys, bright but not blinding. Perfect for playing pc games in the dark. Keys feel and appear very durable. Nice middle of the road depression of keys. Almost low profile. Sharp looking keyboard lights on or off.
CONS: None found thus far.
PROS: A very nice, inexpensive, USB backlit keyboard. You turn the lights on only when you need them by pressing the function key at the top right portion of the keyboard. The backlight makes it very easy to see in low light conditions. A good product at a good price!
CONS: none that I can see.
PROS: If you need a simple keyboard that lights up, this fits the ticket for not much cost. Responsive and easy to type with for the most part.
CONS: Not exactly ergonomic and it take a bit of time getting used to but any new keyboard requires time to adjust to.
PROS: Decent keyboard feel, good spacing and proper sized keys. Blue backlights look great. Easy to turn off or on.
CONS: No dedicated volume control or power buttons, but I rarely care about those anyway.
PROS: Easy to use when working in less lit room
CONS: Angle of KB is not ideal for me. It does not have adjustable lets to raise it. adding that to it would be great and make it just about pefect
PROS: Soft lighting makes it easy to see keys. There is a button that allows you to turn it on or off, but I leave it on all the time.
CONS: Missing buttons that make it easier to adjust volume when listening to videos as opposed to using the mouse.
PROS: LEDs have an on/off switch. MacBook Pro recognized it and the Windows keys work as command keys. Pleasant to the touch and easy to type with. No bulk which is my least favorite thing about common keyboards.
CONS: Only works in one of my USB slots sometimes, but that may be a problem with my computer. Something that will easily be solved by a USB hub.
PROS: It has a good feel to it and is very responsive. The keys sound a little quieter than my other Dell keyboard. The blue led light seems to work well. Other than that it appears to be well worth the money I paid for it.
CONS: Two keys on my keyboard appear to not be as lit or are not lit all the way up. The ` and 1 keys on the top left appear to be fairly weak or out.
PROS: My keyboard is on a slide out shelf which when pulled out is not well lit so the lighted keyboard makes it real easy to see the keys. You really need to keep the keyboard lighted to make it real easy to see the keys.
CONS: Not really a con but it would be nice if the keyboard lights would turn on automatically when you power up the computer
