    Handy product
I've used several of these combo boxes to feed wall mounted flat panel TVs. They are easy to install and meet electrical codes requiring the separation of high voltage (AC power) and low voltage (i.e. HDMI and Ethernet cables) cables.

    PROS: Easy to install

    Perfect combination
I searched for a while before finding this box. This box kills two birds with one stone. If you do many home theater installations, this will com ein handy.

PROS: Installation of one box takes care of both high ad low voltage applications

    CONS: None

You can get it to work by cutting open the low voltage part so the hole part of 4006 will fit unobstructed. I took a dremel to this and the bottom tab on 4006 and it looks alright in the wall. It is hidden behind a tv but I wouldn't be afraid to show it off if I needed too. Keep in mind that with these Old work boxes that there is only some sheet-rock holding them on the wall. If someone pulls on a cord, power or otherwise, they run the risk of pulling it out of the wall along with some nice chunks of the wall itself.

    PROS: Works great

CONS: Not for use with PID 4006 the "Recessed Low Voltage Cable Wall Plate WITH Recessed Power"

This is very inexpensive and and usually you get it the following day. I used this to run wiring for my audio/video equipment located inside a cabinet. For the price, it cannot be beat. I ended up drilling holes on it to accommodate my custom cables.

    PROS: inexpensive
the mounting screws are attached to it, so you cannot lose them
    non-conductive
hard plastic, you can drill holes on it

    Great, simple product
Well made simple combo box, works great for combining low voltage and power behind a wall-mounted TV, for example, resulting in a very discrete install.

Be careful matching to wall plate
Good design for specific intent. Box was rugged enough quality.

PROS: Good gang box for AV and power

CONS: Doesn't necessarily fit the combo wall plates offered - Does not mate with Prodcut ID 4006 Combo Cable/power wall plate.

    Good re-work box
This is a good device box if you need it for re-work such as installing in existing drywall.

Issue I had is that for new walls this box needs to be modified a little so that it can be screwed in the side of the studs (i.e. remove flaps and pre-drill holes for screws). To ensure a solid connection to the stud I needed to add a screw towards the back which was difficult to do through the hole of one of the connectors. Not a big deal, but when you have 5 to do...

There is one plastic 1/2" quick connector on the top of the unit on the high-voltage side to clamp in the Romex cable. Although it is removable and can be placed on the bottom, I would have appreciated a second. I had to purchase some more at the hardware store for the second cable connected to the plug...

    PROS: Non-metallic, Knockouts for conduits

CONS: Re-work only, Only one quick connector included
