Pros: Cannot rate Item because I never receive it.

Cons: When my order arrived the 1-gang low voltage mounting brackets where not with the rest of the order. I called and they said they would credit my card for the amount. A couple of days later I received a return merchandise form. How was I suppost to return something that I was shorted? 2 phone calls later they finally figured out that I didn't receive them in the first place and credited my account. What a hassle. Rest of order was very good.

    Pros: Affordable

    Cons: Small Nails

Great price for a typical low-voltage bracket. The nails that come with it are much smaller than typical brackets, so you have to be careful not to bend them when hammering. Otherwise just fine.

Pros: Cheap, just what the doctor ordered.

Cons: Being low voltage boxes, they aren't very sturdy (none really are). I used a pneumatic palm nailer to nail these to the studs, which made very quick work of them. But this is nothing I would ding this product for.

I ordered these brackets for a basement finish project. I didn't see any dimensions at the time with regards to 1/2" or 5/8" drywall thickness. They work just fine with 1/2" gypsum. If you go to Lowe's and try to buy a low voltage box, last I checked they're about $1.50.
