    Battered but not Beaten
Works well to allow audio from my Wii to reach both my TV and home theatre.

    PROS: Unit is compact.

Split contacts not too close together.

Snug, but not overly tight fit to RCA cables.

CONS: One unit had a wiggly male prong, right out of the package.

The items were in good conditions and they are top quality like everything I buy from monoprice. One of my articles was broken and monoprice relaced it in a quick response time.

    A+ for everything as usual.

    Works Just Fine!
I've gotten several of these from MonoPrice, and haven't had any problems. Loose RCA connections are usually easily fixed by bending the outer prongs of the male connector inward a bit.
I generally use these for connecting a mono signal to both channels of a stereo input. Also useful if you need to sum the channels of a stereo RCA output to a mono signal to run over a single RCA cable.

    Not Monoprice's usual good quality...
    5/5

PROS: Looks like they should work...

CONS: Looks can be deceiving. Ground shells rotate freely, even on the replacement Monoprice sent. This in turn makes for poor, intermittent connections causing the Monoprice subwoofer purchased at the same time to act flaky.

Since then, Monoprice has offered a model 6261 splitter which appears to be a much better assembly, and which would have been ordered, had they been available, (or maybe just missed them).

    Does the job
Overall, you get what you pay for. It definitely functions as its suppose to but just be careful because the part breaks pretty easily. If you won't be touching it or isn't attached to cables that frequently move, then you're probably fine. I would make sure to buy more than one, even if you only need one.

    PROS: - Does the job
    - Very affordable

    CONS: - Cheap
    - Low build quality

    PROS: Cheap

CONS: 2 have broken already, poor quality. If you order them, I strongly suggest a backup also

I didn't try them yet and they probably even work

    Get the more expensive one.
Don't fall for the "gold-plated" hype and buy this crappy splitter for a quarter, like I did. Way cheaply built failed after re-seating my cable the first time. Get the one for a little over $2.00 or preferably the 6 inch Y-cable which doesn't cause the cables to stick out the back as far as this design does.

    PROS: Costs a quarter

    CONS: Worth even less
