Perfect for philps hue light strip wall wart and tv

Pros: Fantastic for hiding large wall warts or A/C adapters
    A/C Surge protection
Audible alarm once surge protection is no longer working so you know that the outlet needs to be replaced.

Cons: Can be a little stressful since the cutout is large and there's little margin for error.

This recessed media box was large enough to fit the wall wart/ac adapter for our philips hue light strip to add some ambient light behind our TV. I tried PID 12588 first, but it was too small. Be careful when making your cut, the margin of error is small because of the expandable box feature. A couple helpful tips: I found a magnetic stud finder is more accurate than an electronic stud finder. After identifying where the studs are, measure the depth of the expandable box, then mark that distance from between one of the studs. Finally use the template to outline your cut starting at your mark. Purchasing the appropriate keystones for your setup will eliminate air leaks and maintain a better air envelope for your home.

    Nice features, very large

Pros: Well made, surge suppressor rather than regular outlet, several cable options (keystones, or grommet or both.

Cons: Kinda large. It has a large "pocket" or box for cable management. With this protruding from the side, it requires proper placement between studs.

I like the product construction, metal tabs/wings for sheetrock/old work clips.
