    ha HA!!! Works great!
Older PS/2 keyboards RULE! This adapter extends that rule in spite of the motherboard manufacturers and their lack insight...

PROS: I hate the current keyboards with only USB outputs: "luv" my ancient PS/2 keyboard but the new motherboards lack this port, and this adapter IS the ticket!

CONS: Absolutely none... I'm back to writing/work.

After a problem, it works perfectly
Great solution to modern computers using your old favorite mouse or keyboard.

    PROS: Works perfectly

CONS: The first one did not work. Niether keyboard or mouse could be seen. They sent me a replacement very quickly. I plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. Then I looked carefully at the USB connector on the bad one, and noticed a little blob of plastic sticking up ahead of the metal contact, which I thought might be interfering with the mating contact. I cut that away with a razor blade, and now the origional part works perfectly also. Thank you Monoprice!

    Does The Job
This adaptor allows computers that accept only usb peripherals to use old-style devices, which have a 5-pin connector

PROS: A simple device, but what a life saver. It allowed me to use my classic IBM keyboard which has a 5 pin connector with my new computer, which accepts usb only.

    CONS: None

    Comes Close
Using this through an KMV switch may not be a valid test but that is what I wanted it for. The mouse did not work that way. I did not test it with a direct connection.

    PROS: Half of it worked.

CONS: Half of it did not work

    Inconsistent
Works great, but should not be used if you are going to play games.

PROS: Very cheap and does what it is supposed to do, sometimes.

CONS: I bought 2 of these. When I first got them, they worked great. However, after a few months 1 of them stopped working. So I tried to use the second one. This one worked, yes, but you can't hold 2 keys at the same time. I used this so I could use my old keyboard to play games. When I try to run and jump at the same time, I would jump once and then just stop. Really annoying when you are trying to play where you have to be very mobile.
