    The size is right
I was looking for a tiny adapter to plug in USB keys to my new Apple laptop, and this adapter gets the job done. Small, inexpensive, a bit flimsy-looking and feeling, but it seems to be strong enough to get the job done without breaking.

PROS: Small size, easy to carry around in my bag. Cheaper than an adapter cable.

CONS: A bit flimsy-looking and feeling, but, it seems to be strong enough to do what it does

    Simple and clean
Something so simple apple should have included it with the magic MacBook

PROS: Works great, simple and clean. Leave it attached to the usb cable and never lose it.

    CONS: None

I use this for my 2015 Macbook. It works most of the time, and the times that it doesn't work I find that if I turn it over that resolves the issue. I use this adapter along with a short USB male-to-male cable to plug an external battery into my Macbook when I'm on the road and away from an outlet. Most of the time my Macbook will register the battery, but sometimes it won't show up in the toolbar. When that happens I just unplug the adapter and flip it upside down and it then registers the connected device.

In comparison to the Apple-branded adapter, it definitely doesn't feel as well made or solid as the expensive adapter that Apple sells, and the Apple-branded adapter I have doesn't have the issue where sometimes you have to flip it over to make it work properly, but for the price if you can suffer the horrible indignity of having to turn a plug over this is a really good choice.

PROS: Very inexpensive and usually gets the job done

CONS: Feels inexpensive and performance can be erratic.
