    15ft 18AWG CL2 Premium 5-RCA Component Video/Audio Coaxial Cable (RG-6/U) - Black

Component video, also known as YPbPr, produces the highest quality analog video. This cable includes conductors for each of the three video channels (Red, Green, Blue) as well as the two stereo audio channels (Red and White) and is ideal for connecting the analog output of DVD players and VCRs to the corresponding inputs on your TV.

The video conductors in this cable are made from RG-6 coaxial cable, with 18AWG cores and shielding to prevent EMI and RFI interference from disturbing your video signal. The audio lines utilize 27AWG stranded conductors. The connectors are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections. The connector housings have color-coded, knurled rubber rings for easy identification and a perfect grip when installing or removing the cable.

This cable is CL2 rated, indicating that it conforms with fire safety and insurance requirements, making it safe for use through or within the walls of residential class buildings.

Excellent product, but just a little stiff and heavy and hard to hide when it comes out of the wall.

What can I say about these cables and Monoprice. An excellent, high quality product at a great price. Comparable product would sell for over 3x as much! Cables are a good buy and worth the purchase!

    TV Cable review
Not using this cable. To heavy and bulky. Not easy to hid from view. Not practicle for home use.

The quality is typically spotless and do not hesitate to recommend. Minor issue with one connector would not grip the port. Had to squeeze the connector gently with pliers in order for it to grab and stay connected. Otherwise would be a 10.

    Works well but VERY THICK
I needed to run two sets of these component cables and two HDMI cables from a shelf with the video equipment to the TV mounted above the fireplace. The thickness of these cables made the job more difficult because they had to be positioned so that the full motion mount would still function. I ended up removing some drywall and cutting a 3/4 inch deep by 5 inch wide notch in the studs I needed to cross. Boring a hole large enough for these wires would have practically cut through a stud. Certainly not what I wanted to do to my load bearing wall.

PROS: Seems well made, Makes the connection

CONS: Thick so flexibility is challenged. So wide it is not trivial to run through a wall.
