    6" really is short
Bought a variety of cable to get my mother's new home office/ business set up. Figured that 6" would be just right to get the cable modem to the router. NOT. Though it was nice to give it a try and maybe cut down some on the cable jungle. If you're inclined to get the .5 footer, upgrade to the 1' instead. That way, if you're router stands up sideways and you cable modem will only lay flat, they can still get groovy and you won't be standing there with this 6" cable in your hand, entertaining the use of a 6' instead for the want of an inch or two.

Great price but be careful about the short length
These 1/2 foot cables are exactly as advertised. They work fine. The price is fantastic. The availability of colors is great. Be absolutely sure that you really need a cable that's only 6 inches long. I bought several of these in different colors and underestimated their usefulness. I ended up picking up some 1 and 2 foot cables to use instead but kept the 1/2 foot cables because they're so low cost they're not worth returning.

PROS: Low cost, good fit and finish. Works fine. Possibly good to connect switches or Ethernet devices that are right on top of each other.

CONS: These are possibly too short to be useful for most things. Be careful that you do need cables this short.
