75ft Super VGA M/F CL2 Rated (For In-Wall Installation) Cable w/ Ferrites (Gold Plated)

Despite the introduction of DVI and HDMI®, the common VGA connection is still the primary connection for most computer monitors.

This double-shielded extension cable is designed to handle analog VGA and extended VGA resolutions. It features a male DE-15 (aka HD-15 or DB-15) connector on one end and a female DE-15 connector on the other end. The connectors and pins are gold plated for smooth, corrosion-free connections. It includes ferrite cores at each end, which ensure that EMI and RFI interference will not enter your video system.

This cable is CL2 rated, which indicates that it complies with fire safety and insurance standards, making it safe for use through or within the walls of residential class buildings.

HDMI, the HDMI Logo, and High-Definition Multimedia Interface are trademarks or registered trademarks of HDMI Licensing LLC in the United States and other countries.

This item works fine for our projector, which is monted in the ceiling and needed cables for the computer.

PROS: Good, happy with the item

Worked great to display a laptop image on projection screens. This 75' VGA cable fed into a signal amplifier/splitter to another 100' VGA cable connected to the projectors. There was no visible signal degradation, resolution was sharp, and colors were vivid. High quality, thick, heavy, well-built cable. Seem to be sturdy enough to allow years of frequent connecting and disconnecting. A little stiff, so it holds its coil shape, making it a little difficult to lay it flat on the floor without taping it down. Still very new, so time and use may make it more flexible.

PROS: First the delivery service was vary fast. The cable did everything advertised. I did not expect the loss to be as low as it proved to be. I would buy it again in a minute.

In the end perhaps I should have invested in a more expensive cable. Some cost as much as $100+, and have a really low AWG. I tried messing with the 'phase' and 'clock' settings, but that did not correct the problem. I don't receive the jitter 'cons' with a shorter cable. Since it is a HDTV, I'm going to try converting to HDMI, and see if that does anything.

PROS: Good Cable. Good Transfer for the price. Thick ends, and sterdy cord. The cable goes in and out of the house.

CONS: On the HDTV I get the jitters for the small print even from the booster box that is supposed to drive VGA 300ft. I also get some video ghosting on the mouse cursor.
