    Video Splitter - HDMI® Male to DVI-D Female X 2

This passive splitter will distribute a single HDMI input to two DVI-D outputs. The single HDMI plug and two DVI-D ports are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.

Note that this splitter does not pass the HDCP copy protection information, so it is unsuited for use in home theater systems. Please use one of our powered splitters for home theater applications.

Sort of works. Passive splitters aren't so good for DVI or HDMI sources.
The handshaking is better taken care of with more expensive splitters with circuitry.

If you want to go with a passive splitter try this one instead. HDMI is lighter.
The cables are much lighter than DVI. The DVI cables sticking out of this dragged it off my desk. You can use normal HDMI cables with #2522 and convert the cables at the end to DVI with a HDMI to DVI adapter.

doesnt splitt to two different tv
It doesn't work when I tried to y split my direct dvr box to two different tv. I used a 28 awg hdmi monoprice cable, that could be the reason why it did not work.

PROS: looks good and low priced.

    CONS: alittle bulky.

I ordered a powered splitter, If that does not work, I'll try elsewhare.

    PROS: None

CONS: Splitter did not work with 2 items pluged into it. A powered splitter should work better.
