It does what I need

Pros: Cheap, simple

Cons: It wasn't free

I needed to run a phone line for my stupid, slow, DSL modem which was being relocated to the basement. I ran this phone cord from the jack to the desk where I have the modem and my internet works the same as it always has. If you need to run a regular phone line extension, this stuff will do the trick.

Good Quality

Pros: - Sturdy build
- Heave gauge for a telephone cable but thin enough to slide in between and behind things
- Less snagging
- Great Price

I bought this cable about a year ago and I'm still using it. Unlike the first 50 ft telephone cable I bought out of a retail store, this has stood up to the test of time. The last cable I had became frayed within 6 months plus it started to malfunction and give static sounding feedback through the phone I was using with it. I'm happy to say I've had none of the problems I had before with the cable I purchased from MonoPrice.com. I've even stretched the cable behind more stuff than I did the retail store one and still no problems or crazy static feedback on the phone. This cable was worth every penny!
