While the film will adhere to the screen, it will not leave any resins or residue when removed. The packaging includes a lint-free cleaning cloth, to ensure that the screen is clean before applying the film. Each order includes two protective screen films.

How to apply the Screen Protective Film to your phone:

Please turn the device off. Clean the surface of the touch screen with the cloth provided in a dust-free environment. Please do not use cleaning agents.

Start by folding down the backing layer. Avoid touching the back of the film, which may leave your fingerprints on it, peel off about an inch. Make sure the adhesive side is facing down.
Note: Removing the backing all at once may cause static that could attract unwanted dust.

Apply the film with adhesive side toward the screen. Align the screen protector with the screen edge and place it in position by applying light pressure to the film at the point of contact (front side).
Work your way across the screen, slowly pulling the backing layer off.
Be sure not to leave any bubbles on the screen surface as you go. If you have any air bubbles when finished, see below.

If you notice bubbles as you go, pull back and retry. If it's caused by dirt, attempt to lightly flick it off or use the sticky side of a piece of tape, (clothes lint roller tape is best).
Apply light pressure evenly across the surface until the film is completely adhered. If no dirt is present, very small air bubbles may dissipate in a few days.

Cons: Poor quality.
I'll start by saying customer service has been responsive. I've now received this item three times (original purchase, plus two replacements). All three have had a blemish on both of the protectors included in each package. In addition to the blemishes, the 1st and 3rd orders had slight bending from what I assume is the post office. According to the other reviews, people seem to have better luck than me. The price can't be beat and I'm sure it would protect the screen just fine, but any cosmetic defects makes this not worth it. I would not purchase this product again.

like the matte , takes the glare off the screen without impacting image qulaity
Cons: not sure I have any especially at this price
Goes on easily. covers all areas as expected.
matter finish is nice to avoid glare and also makes minor scratches that I will likely eventually get, less obvious

Of your two, one becomes the practice one.
Cleaning cloth is not very good, so applying the first one, you find ALL SORTS of crap causing bubbles that you didn't even know was there. The thing holds on with static cling and what seams to be just a smidge of adhesive. This means that any hair that makes its way to the protector before applying to the iPad is staying there and any attempt to remove it will only make it worse. If you use a super high quality microfiber with some spray solution beforehand (and clean your area as well) you should be fine.

Nice thick plastic provides good protection
Works well with touch screen
Cons: Large screen of iPad means it is very hard to put it on without capturing airborne dust particles
Overall a great value, we used it to cover a crack in the glass to protect our fingers.
