4-color LED Mini Pin Spot Light
Illuminate your next show with this 4-Color LED Pin Spot Light from Monoprice!
This light uses a 10 watt RBGW LED, which can produce red, green, blue, and white light. By varying the individual intensity of each color element, the light can be tuned to produce almost any color imaginable. It is controllable using a DMX-512 controller in 6 channel mode and includes a microphone, so it can respond to nearby audio sources. It requires 110 ~ 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz input power and consumes 10 watts of power. It weighs about 1.5 lbs.

| | Overall | Pros: Lightweight
fan cooled
nice color mixing.
Cons: Colors don't line up cleanly - edges of color show.
The external power supply is clunky.
Limited chase patterns without DMX
I bought a pair of these for attaching to box truss, and focusing on a mirror ball, and they'll work just fine for that purpose. I would NOT consider using them for throws over 15 - feet. They're just not powerful enough to pull that off.

| | Nice little light, but not bright | Pros: Fast shipping
Cons: Everything else
I should have known better- a LED multicolor pinspot in this price range? Against my intuition, I ordered one of these to try. Set it up 12 feet from the disco ball and powered it up. The beam is much wider than it should be at even this distance- it needs a 10 degree lens as well as the one supplied. Focused ok, but the brightness is just not there. Even in a dark room there are not enough lumens to get a decent reflection off the mirror ball.
Unfortunately, this light is not worth the money at all, even though it isn't much money. Don't waste yours on this light.

| | Lot's of Bleed.. Not bright... Plug on side sticks out... Don't Buy it! | Pros: None
Cons: Way too much bleed over from one color to the next, especially if you're looking to use this as a "WHITE" only spot light.. lot's of colors all around the edges of the white spot. It's really noticeable. Also... the other CON is where they decided to put the Power cord plug in. It's on the side of the light opposed to the back of the light, where most other lights put the power cord input.
Cheap and you get what you pay for with this light... Don't waste your money... invest in a real spot that is brighter and works like a real spot light, without bleed over, especially when using white. Also... the menu is very confusing and instruction are poorly written. So far, most of the DJ lights have been very disappointing.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello,
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about the issues experienced with PID 612210. I just wanted to mention that in order to use this as a white only spot light, you would need to turn the Red, Green, and Blue LEDs all the way down and the White LED all the way up. We have a video showing this at the following link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f-qVzez-0g&list=UUv9NmZG_TJ3ARpEZ1KjVZuA&t=45
You can see the white only light at 0:48 seconds in. Before that, all LEDs are turned up and show the bleeding mentioned. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions!

| | Not so bright | Pros: Cost, ease of use
Cons: very dim
I ordered 4 of these last week. Figuring that a 10 watt LED source would be a brighter that what this is. I've used this light 3 times and each time it's been much too dim. If your room is entirely dark, this little light will do the trick. Otherwise go with something brighter.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello UTDJ,
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear PID 612210 did not work out for your needs. Just to verify, were you able to test out all four lights? If so, were all the lights too dim for your setup? If truly dissatisfied with the lights, I can assist you in setting up a return RMA. If you wish to proceed with the RMA, just let me know and I can get that started right away. My apologies for the trouble and I hope this helps!

by UTDJ No worries. I'm going to pull them from my show and use them only when the venue is very dark. Thanks!

| | Good for non-specific spots | Pros: Bright, color-blending, versatile mounting
Cons: Flickers, color lenses don't line up, little focus control
I mounted four of these 12 ft above my stage for a down spotlight with about 2 1/2ft diameter circle on the floor on performers and they worked perfectly. I could see using them from about 20 ft away, but no further. Best used in close proximity for dramatic spots. DMX is nice.
Haven't tried chases or master/slave functions yet.
Uses: Theater, Concerts, Presentations, displays
