| | ((( EXCELLENT STRINGS ))) |  Pros: Great strings. They really do the job for me
I like the fact that all of them are coated and the plain strings feel somewhat rough due to the coating. It makes it easier to grab the string when you want to bend it.
I've always been frustrated by how the high strings, on an average new set, tend to be too slippery when bending. I always liked how easily you can grab the high strings to bend them when the strings get old. However, by that time the strings don't hold their tunings as well, don't sound as good, are on the verge of breaking and have to be changed.
You guys have solved that problem for me. That's why I ordered 10 sets of the strings

| Cons: The low E (6) came apart under pressure for me, and I had to replace it with the old one.
I use a Floyd Rose bridge, and I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to use a lighter gauge of string on there, but even so, I had the low E come apart on me while tuning it up. I slid the ball end through the tuning peg (which I've done with other strings before with no problems) and then clamped the other end in the bridge. After applying pressure and changing out the other strings, it started to fray at both ends, the ball and the end I clipped. Eventually, I didn't have enough string left to work with. Under normal circumstances without a floating bridge, things might have gone smoother. In my experience, these aren't very usable strings. The gauge seems to bring the floating bridge up too high and screws up the intonation. The sound is also slightly duller than I was expecting.

| | Great Strings | Pros: Coating creates a smooth surface for fingers to slide, bright tone, insane value as usual from Monoprice, great packaging
Cons: None
These strings are on par with Elixer strings for half the price. The bright tone is always pleasing to the ears, and the coating on the strings will ensure they last a lot longer than uncoated strings. I like how instead of each individual string's package is labeled 1st, 2nd 3rd, etc., as apposed to other brands that have them labeled by string size. This is handy for lazy people and amateurs. Monoprice killed it with these amazing strings. I'm never buying Elixers again knowing I can pay half price for these!

| | Great strings - great price | Pros: Good quality and a good price
These strings are perfect for what I'm looking for and the price is right! I haven't had any problems with this product and these strings behave exactly as I expect.
