| | Poor Spring Action |  Pros: It looks nice, it has a long reach as advertised. It certainly is inexpensive.
Cons: It has such poor spring tension that it would not work on either of my two 12 string guitars, nor even on my six string. It did not work even higher up the neck as the neck thickened. It is inexpensive, but I'm afraid that it is cheap.
I hope you have better luck with this than I did.

Thank you for your review on PID 611051. I am truly sorry to hear that this guitar capo did not work with the six string or your other twelve string guitar. I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement, if you would like, to see if a new unit would work out any better. We cover this product with a one year warranty and it would be of no additional cost to you to obtain the replacement. Or, if truly unsatisfied, I can setup the RMA for a return instead. If you wish to proceed, please let me know if you would prefer to obtain the replacement or return the capo. My apologies for the trouble and I hope this helps!

| I bought this hoping it would work on my 7 string or my 6 string and it doesn't work right on either of them. It's a pretty good design but on both of my guitars there's always at least one string that is choked

| | Great Capo | Pros: Works great. Easy on off. Longer 'snout' for wider fretboards.
Cons: None really. It's a little large but that is a function of necessity.

| | Capo Strength | Pros: Works OK with my 6 string
Cons: Doesn't work with my 12 string. I bought the longer capo for my 12-string so that it would cover the wider neck. Length is fine, but it isn't strong enough to hold the strings in place, about half the strings are muted.
Works OK with my 6 string, not strong enough for my 12-string which is what I bought it for.

| | good budget capo for 12 stimgs | Pros: price, decent construction, doesn't look cheap, one size fits all*, works for wider fretboards like 12 strings,
Cons: no tension adjust, *may not fit all necks, not sure how roadworthy it will be in the long term
this capo is a good specialist one for broader necks. I use it for my 12 string electric, it works well but I don't thiknit can take too much abuse. I would figure I'll get at least 12 months gigging out of it, if you're only playing at home/studio etc then I doubt you have a care. It's cheap enough that you could buy another without too much worry. Overall I'm very happy with it and will replace it if it breaks/gets lost etc.
