The setup ensures that the neck is straight, the action is right, and that it will stay in tune. To protect your investment, it comes with a 10mm padded, zippered, gig bag with shoulder strap and a truss-rod wrench.
Surprised at the quality of the materials used on this guitar. It's a great deal for this price.

First timer
Pros: Beautiful, great sound, easy to tune, stays tuned. This is the 1st time I have tried to play a guitar in earnest. So, my fingers are killing me, but I love the guitar. It seems like a nearly perfect guitar to me. At least for me it is.
Cons: bought it one week before it went on sale.
It helps me make up songs. Just strum a few bars and start singing. La La La... Wish I had taken it with me on vacation. Next time.

Great guitar
Pros: Great guitar, especially for the price with case and electric pickup.
Cons: Slight fret buzz.
Great guitar, looks nice, price is right, has the electric pickup. I am still very new to guitar, but we have a few in the house. I think this one looks and sounds the best, and was probably the least expensive. Plus it has the electric pickup. The first one monoprice sent me had a very small slightly weird discoloration on the neck. I wasn't even going to mention it to them, but then the tuner stopped working so I had to contact them anyway. They did an RMA and I had the new guitar within 3 days...can't beat that. The new one had a tiny little discoloration around the edge of the hole. Both had a slight fret buzz, but no big deal.

Amazing Deal!
Pros: Nice rich sound
Great feel to fingerboard
Decent case
Cons: Chinese manufacture
I've ordered similar Eleca branded acoustic-electric cutaways at these bargain prices, and this is the best quality I've seen. Comes packaged to stay protected during shipping, and stringed by someone who knew what he was doing. Wish I'd ordered more when it was on sale.
Cons: Very slight imperfection in side the sound hole
Wow, I am amazed at the value of this beautiful guitar. Based off the reviews here, I expected a lot, but was ready to be slightly disappointed. I mean, really, can this guitar be as good as everybody says it is at such a deal? Doubt it!
Glad I was wrong =) The color on this guitar is simply beautiful. I'm glad I went with this one rather than a typical black or natural wood one. My only complaint, and it's extremely minor, is that just inside the sound hole, the paint/finish didn't cover the edge very well. It's really a nitpicky thing. If I paid $1,000 for this, I might raise a fuss. But for less than $100 on sale, I truly don't care. Especially since you have to hold the guitar in a really weird angle to even see it. In fact, I bet a lot of dark colored guitars have the same issue. I imagine it's really hard to paint that spot, but it's probably unnoticeable on a lighter natural colored guitar.
I can't find any fret buzz, and only one free MIGHT need just a tad of filing, but I don't think I'll bother. I can't really notice it unless I look for it. I wouldn't have noticed it at all if other reviews didn't bring it up and put it in my head.
I've been playing guitar off and on for 20 years (more time off than on). I'm far from pro, but I know enough about guitars to judge a nice one. I would value this at $300-500 based off the two Fender and one Takamine acoustics I've owned. I would much rather play this one from Monoprice from either of those.
I'm just playing around for fun in my bedroom, so I haven't tested the pickup. I don't even own an amp but I might try it out with Rocksmith. I'll never play live, but it's fun to pick up a guitar again and goof around on it, trying to remember the songs of my youth. I'm glad Monoprice had such a deal to allow me back into playing!
