| | Portable, compact, and inexpensive! |  Pros: Very lightweight, portable, folds up to nearly nothing, fits in gig bag pocket, perfect for smaller instruments such as fiddle, mando, or uke should not harm finish on the instrument GREAT price
Cons: Might not be suitable for more expensive or heavier instruments
I LOVE this little stand, and wish I'd bought two! I wanted something very portable and small enough to hold my fiddle. Wish I'd thought about what to do with the bow, but it holds the fiddle well, along with my guitar. Be sure to pull the little feet out towards the back to stabilize the stand. I read that in a review, then forgot, and my husband discovered those feet. I would hesitate to use this stand for an expensive guitar, mainly because it's not very tall, but I was specifically looking for the smallest, most portable stand I could find, and I found it, and at a GREAT price!

Cons: cheap
Like other reviewers have said this thing is not stable at all. Guitars sit too upright and are at risk of falling over in every direction. Awful. First monoprice product i've ever not liked and that's saying something.

| I normally am very happy with items from Monoprice. These guitar stands, however, are absolute garbage. It's completely unstable on carpet and I wouldn't even dare try putting it on a hard surface after how many times my guitar has fallen backwards.

| It fits my electric and acoustic. A little less sturdy than I'd like on carpeting, but it's not falling over. So, this is working fine.
