| Perfect!! | Pros: Easy to hang
No different than name brand
Good quality
I have four guitars and two of them were on the wall already with name brand wall hooks. I wanted to mount the other two guitars, but name brand hooks were very overpriced and sometimes cost well over $15. The Monoprice hooks look and feel exactly the same and look great on the wall with my guitars hanging in them. Glad I found them here.

| Good basic instrument hanger | Pros: Solid construction, securely holds a range of neck/headstock sizes
Cons: Included screws/anchors seem insufficent
I bought 2 of these because unlike other major brands, Monoprice actually provided helpful dimensions on the product page. I have 2 basses, one is a Tune 4-string with a narrow headstock, the other is an ESP LTD 5-string with the wider neck that goes along with it and a wide headstock. I was concerned that I might not be able to get identical hangers that would accommodate both basses, but the listed dimensions seemed like this one would work, and it does. I have no worries about either bass coming out of the wall mount.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the included screws seem insufficient for a heavy instrument. For me, this was only a very minor issue, as already had on hand some better screws/anchers (Cobra Triple-Grip: I use them for mounting everything on the wall - I have used them extensively with both drywall and plaster/lath).
One thing that is not clear from the product page is whether the hangers swivel. In fact, the padded arms are on a screw that screws into the black part. As long as it is not screwed in tight (and it probably won't be level if you do screw it tight), it will swivel. My 5-string has an asymmetrical headstock and it works fine.
As with most Monoprice products, it may not be quite as fancy or look quite as cool as the namebrand that costs 2-4x as much, but it's a solid product that does what it's supposed to do.

| Flawless | Pros: Inexpensive, actually cheap
Easy installation
does the job perfectly
Cons: none
I have too many guitars, so I decided they would be safer hanging on the wall. I bought one of these and one of the acoustic hangers. Having tried them out, ordered enough for all of my guitars.

| Its not perfect, but it works and the price is right | Pros: Awesome price.
Simple to hang.
Sturdy
Cons: Screws were crap and stripped. Ended up using my own.
This is a pretty good deal for the money. Not perfect, but it works and I save lots of floor space. The Thing is sturdy, but I would have liked to have seen an upturn in the prongs, like the acoustic hanger.

Pros: -The mount is sturdy and does what it is meant to do
-Cheap!
Cons: -Screws packaged with the mount seem way too short to support the weight of a solid wood electric guitar
At this price, you get more than what you pay for. But use longer screws and screw in a stud to make sure your precious guitar stays safe.
