| | Great breakout cables |  Pros: Well put together, holds up, solid connection.
Cons: Cable is a little floppy, I guess? Overall great though.
I'm using several of these to route L/R aux outputs from my recording interface into a multi-channel headphone amp. So far, working perfectly!

| Pros: good quality. does the job
Cons: would prefer the plastic to be upgraded and connections to be gold plated

| | elektron analog 4 control voltage break out cables | Pros: these cables are well built and bend easily enough, not stiff or anything, they also function quite well and completely fulfill the purpose of why i sought them out, a 1/4" tsr to 2 1/4" ts like this actually proved hard for me to find! i use these cables with a music synthesizer and sequencer from elektron called the "analog 4", these cables allow me to break out a single plug to control cv pitch and gate at the same time. i have tested them with the elektron analog 4 and a moog minitaur synthesizer, everything works beautifully and i am a happy synthesist! thanks monoprice!

Cons: None so far.
I got several of these for my church to set up a low budget in-ear monitor system from our digital soundboard. We now have 3 separate stereo mixes plus 1 mono mix for under 30 bucks in cables and adapters. Our snake had lots of unused TRS returns, so I used them to send the mixes from the board back to the stage. We just run headphone extension cords from the stage box to the headphones. By the way, I used a set of the "12238 Hi-Fi Reflective Sound Technology Earphones w/ Microphone" as my IEM, and was blown away by having high quality stereo sound as my monitor mix when I played for a weekend service. It felt like listening to a CD!
Note: I was using the "615220 4-channel Headphone Amplifier" so that I could easily control the volume on my end, and to drive the earphones better than the signal from the board Aux sends.

| Pros: Great price so I ordered two of these
Cons: One was dead-on-arrival
Seems like poor quality control. These really need to be tested before made available.
They were fairly inexpensive 3+ dollars apiece, so it would cost me more to ship it back for an exchange. Makes me think twice about purchasing anything else.
This is the second time I've purchased an item that was substandard ( a very noisey "pro-audio" cable that was also not worth returning). However, most other items I have purchased over the past year or two have been fine. I just expect to shop with 100% confidence. Now I cannot.
