Cons: Is non functional
Doesn't detect motion at all, will not connect to Wii, waste of money. Buy the nintendo brand.

| | Works well, but chugs AAAs | Pros: Good range, automatic setup, clever mounting clamp with sticky thing
Cons: Head to Costco, you're gonna need more AAAs
I rigged up my wii to an HD projector to enjoy some bowling on 120 inch screen (it's amazing). This wireless sensor bar is great because my Wii is over by my components that hook to the projector and surround - about 20 feet away. Anyway, it works great when it has full batteries. If they get even a little low, it starts to get a little sporadic. Read other reviews and thought 'hell I only play an hour or so every week, how many batteries can it possibly eat?' - answer: a lot. I replace 4AAAs every week. For the price, I think it's worth it because it works well. If you get some rechargeable batteries, you should be in good shape.

| | Great product | Pros: Works great!
Cons: None
I set up this wireless sensor bar over 15' away from the Wii console and have had no issues with it reading the controller's motion. Great product!

| | Wireless battery drainer | Pros: When this has power, it works very well. It might even track a little further than the wired bar that comes with the console.
Cons: It will drain four lithium AAA's in under a week. If you buy this plan on buying rechargeable batteries. I would have accepted a little more weight and thickness if it could use AA batteries instead as they have more than double the capacity of a AAA.
This unit comes with a resting bar that has a "pick and stick" adhesive so you can mount it to your TV, desk, or wherever you want the sensor to be. Plan on buying name brand adhesive if you intend to do this as the stock adhesive doesn't last at all.
It's a good device. It does what it's intended to (emits invisible infrared light), and you can't beat the price. You will spend more in good rechargeable batteries and maybe a better adhesive for the resting bar.

| | Buy fresh batteries! | Pros: Pretty simple device, it turns on and works.
Cons: I thought the sensor bar was dead on arrival. It requires four AAA batteries, so I popped in four AAA batteries from a few remotes I had to try it out. The red light came on, but it didn't work with my Wii Remotes. I bought some fresh AAA batteries and tried them out, and the red light was brighter and illuminated the top of the bar a little bit, and finally worked. You absolutely need fresh batteries.
It works. Kind of wish I could switch it on and off remotely, and I don't really trust to just permanently leave it on due to how reliant it was on the fresh batteries. Still though, for three bucks, I'm not complaining. It works great with all of my remotes on both my Wii and Wii U.
