| HDTV Indoor / Outdoor Antenna | | | Question: Will this device allow me to turn my monitor into an HDTV? | | Answer: Not by itself. This is just an antenna. You need a tuner to tune into HD Channels.. | | Question: I already have an antenna that I was using with my older TV''s. Do I have to replace it with a new HD Antenna? | Answer: No. Antennas haven''t changed, only the tuner that tune in the new digital channels. Some retailer may try to imply that you need a new antenna to go with your new HDTV, but they are just relabelling the old antennas as HD ready like they use to relabel headphones as digital ready when CD''s first came out. Fact is, the new ATSC broadcasts are sent of the same frequency spectrum as the old NTSC''s VHF and UHF bands.
So, if you already have a reliable antenna, it should continue to serve your new tuner or TV. | | Question: Will this antenna perform better than my current antenna? | | Answer: It depends. If you are currently using an amplified ariel roof-top antenna, probably not. But if you''re using passive rabbit ears, there''s a good chance the amplifier in our antennas may help you capture more signals. | | Question: Are your antennas omni-directional or directional? | | Answer: Our antennas are said to be highly directional, meaning you will get better reception by pointing them toward the source of the signals. | | Question: I''ve connected the antenna but don''t seem to be getting many or any signals. | Answer: Did you make sure to plug the antenna to a power source? If you have a model with a switch on back, did you make sure to switch it on? If you have the outdoor model, did you make sure to connect the power inserter into the line?between the TV and the antenna and that it was pointing in the right direction? Do the LED''s light come on indicating that power is going to the antenna? Do you have a clear line of sight to the source of transmissions?
If you''ve verified all this and are still having difficulties, please use our automated system to request a replacement or refund. | | Question: Q: Where can I get more information about television stations and reception in my area? | | Answer: A: You can check antennaweb.org to see what stations broadcast in your area. Our antennas are all appropriate for Green and lower areas. |

| | Great Antenna | Pros: It really does work!
Cons: Nothing i can see yet.
Tried the Amazon Flat, ByOne Flat and Terk Trinity. This antennae is so much better. Mounted it up high in my front room horizontally and it picks up 78 discrete HDTV signals. Most i probably won't watch. I'm in San Jose, CA and have hills on 2 sides of me. Pick up all local channels except for KPIX (very intermittant. Using it with a TIVO OTA receiver. Great picture & clear sound. Thumbs Up!

| | Works great in Richmond Hill | Pros: Easy to setup. Strong signal. Nice design.
Cons: Since I just used it for few days, no findings yet.
I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Just dropped the cable and switched to this antenna. I just connected everything, put the antenna near the window in my bedroom and gave it a try(search). I got 6HD channels, includes CityTV, CBC, Global, OMNI2, tvo and yestv. Even it is just placed near the window temporary, the signal is very strong and solid. I will install it outside once it is getting warmer outside and try to search for more channels. I highly recommend this antenna to people who are tired about the expensive and unreasonable cable charge. Those channels are good enough for me. Nice product.
