Compatible with HP Visualize EVC Systems

Pros: Seems to be identical in functionality to the original HP EVC to VGA adapters I used to buy

Cons: The outer lip is too tight, especially in the upper corners. I have to manually pull this out with needle-nose pliers in order to get this to fit on my HP Visualize systems (w/ EVC output)

I was quite excited to get this and test it out as I'd literally just exhausted my supply of HP original EVC to VGA adapters now I was finding those HP adapters super scarce and pricey. I read another reviewer saying this adapter works with his HP Visualize system, so when I tried to pop it on my HP B180L's EVC port, to my dismay it wouldn't fit. Then I recall the other reviewer saying he had to pull the "lip" out and once I did that it worked! It's a minor adjustment so no big deal. Otherwise, I'm very happy so far.

Adapter purchase for projector

I borrowed this projector from church, but it was missing the cord or adapter to connect my computer & projector together. I found Monoprice on the internet & they had the piece that was needed. Their price was cheaper than anyone else & it has good quality!

Work's as it should

Adapter does what it suppose to, using it for Dell projector that employes this connector besides s-video.
