A very useful box.

This was exactly what I was looking for and it was very inexpensive. It is a very durable and well made case, with three network ports built in. I think it is made of steel. I used it to make a break out/monitor for the network cable. I added some 8 low power LEDs so I could see what was happening with the network line. The ports are wired (not circuit boards), so you can easily cut the wires and add LEDs or other break out connectors.

Good Switch Box for the price

Pros: Performs as advertised. I got this for my Mom's XP PC due to a landline phone noise issue that's originating from her old XP PC thru the ethernet line. She switches off the 'net line during the day to eliminate the landline phone noise issue.

Works great for Seniors due to the large easy to operate switch size. Box is compact and does not take up much space on the PC desk.

Excellent product

I'm using this switch box at a university. We are not allowed to have routers, switches, bridges or hubs. The reason behind this is they generate a different MAC address and the school's cannot control the devices as well.

This device acts as a pass-through device and only allows one device on at a time.

Very useful.
