Great accessory

Pros: Works good.... lasts a long, long time!

Cons: None

This product (along with a Premium USB to Micro USB 3 ft cable) works great for powering my android phone after a long day.

Two port auto charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Pros: Fast charging which I was looking for.

Cons: None so far.

I've only had the charger a short time but it seems to be working quite well. The first time I used it with the phone on and the screen off it completed the charge very quickly just like it was plugged into the wall fast charger that came with the phone. Today I used it while using the GPS and it maintained or slightly increased the charge in the brief period it was in use. In all much better than the old lower amp charger that was only able to maintain the charge when in use and took excessively long to recharge a low battery.

Well made USB car charger that delivers rated amps

Pros: Good price, compact, good charge rate, rugged for car use. Delivers rated charge current. Looks good in my BMW lighter port.

Have you had third party home and car chargers that take longer to charge a device than the one that came with your device? That's largely because the charger is not matched or not universally tuned to the device. I have purchased no less than 3 other car chargers for my Samsung Galaxy phone over the last year. Using an App that monitors charging current, so called 1A, 2.1A chargers deliver only 450-600ma. But his charger has been clocked to deliver upwards of 1.9A with minimums of 1.2A for a fast charge. My original Samsung home charger only delivers 1.2A. The cable has some play in the rating so I recommend the Monoprice "1.5ft USB 2.0 A Male to Micro 5pin Male 28/24AWG Cable w/ Ferrite Core (Gold Plated)".

Ordered one, was DOA. Contacted monoprice, they sent me a new one quickly, and that one works great
