Never Miss a Deal.

I've had great success with Monoprice products before and this is no exception. I tried two other cases for my new iphone 6s+ but they didn't provide enough protection. This unit is substantial without overdoing it. The edges wrap around enough so that the screen and the camera lens do not touch the surface when the phone is put on a flat surface. The only negative is that the case could have a tackier feel but that's not a major issue.

Main reason I got a case was to get a better grip. This didn't really do it for me. I thought it would be similar to Product 9998 - Dual Guard PC+Silicone Case for iPhone® 5/5s - Black which is what I always used for my iPhone 5. Also obviously for protection and it didn't feel as tough either. Will keep around just as a backup.

Pros: Looks great and adds just enough friction so it's not slippery but it's still easy to handle.

Cons: None

I haven't tried adding a hard screen cover and am not sure it is possible to do so, but it is otherwise a great case. It's inexpensive, sturdy, and looks great.

This is a great case. Very well made and fits the phone nicely. The corners are extra padded, which I imagine will help with drops (I don't plan on testing it out). This case is very slim and does not add much bulk at all to the phone. It makes the phone easier to grip (with no case the phone tends to be a bit slippery). This could easily be a $40 case, its that well made. I bought this and the TPU case. The TPU case feels like it would give much less protection, but would be slightly thinner. This case provides much better grip than TPU case. Also, around the screen, the casing protrudes a bit more than the TPU case, giving it more protection if you were to lay your phone face down on a table for example. This case feels like it could take a drop no problem.

My only gripe, and its a small one, is that I wish the hard plastic part of the case wrapped around the edges a bit more. I had this exact case for my iPhone 5S and it wrapped around the edges more than this. The advantage of that is that the rubber part of case (the interior shell) doesn't get as stretched out. I've been using this case about a month and its not stretched out at all, but it just feels like the rubbery part is going to get stretched out over time. I could be wrong.

One other small gripe is the cutout around the ringer / vibrate control. Its just a tad hard to reach. Not really that bad. I found it easier on the TPU case for example. I think if someone had decent fingernails it would be no problem. But if you keep your nails short its a little tough. Not a deal breaker.

If I had it to do over, I would buy this case again. And when it wears out, I will buy it again. For the price, you just can't beat it.
