Print gears, bearings, and other low-friction moving parts using this Polyoxymethylene 3D Printer Filament from Monoprice! Polyoxymethylene, or POM for short, is an ideal material for crafting gears, bearings, and other parts that need to work in a low-friction environment. This 1 kg spool features a thickness of 1.75mm ±0.10mm, with a roundness variation of only 0.05mm. It has a nominal processing temperature of 230 ~ 250°C (446 ~ 482°F). Thickness and roundness factors are laser measured at the factory to ensure accuracy over the entire length of the filament. Reel Dimensions:

Pros: I wrote an earlier review of this product and said that I could not get it to feed through the Monoprice extruder. After looking around the internet I found that what is needed to make this work with the Monoprice 3d printer is to make new frame around the stepper motor of the extruder. You have to design a new part, (I used ABS) with your printer so that the flexible filment is supported right at the exit point of the extruder gear. If there is no support the filament it just bends and then goes around the extruder gear and not down the nylon tube to the heated portion of the extruder. After making this change to the 3D printer I was able to product a nice qualtiy part using the setting below. It's slow gong but it will work, it's also hard to get the "raft" off by pulling, use a razor blade and cut it off works the best. If it didn't have some of these growing pains I would have given it a better rating. More colors in the future would be nice.
