Has worked well with SmartThings hub V2 so far

Pros: Has been very reliable so far

Cons: Size is a challenge when going in box with 3 way switches
Untinned leads

Install was fairly straight forward, the one thing that tripped me up was I didn't realize that you could only set the mode (indicator light support) after the unit is paired with the controller. I took the advice of others and tinned the leads with soldering iron before starting installation.

Finally works as I wanted it

Pros: Works very well now
A very cost effective way to control set of switches with a single relay

Cons: Bad documentation

The documentation is poor and it took me some time to figure out how to use it to control a set of 3 way and four way switches circuit that I wanted to add this switch to. Now that I have all the info it works very nicely. I can turn control the lights form SmartThings or any of the 3 wall switches. The lights indicator always shows the actual On/Off in all control cases

Works as expected after I figured out the wiring

I used this module to control a fireplace I have.

I also have an RF remote. So with this I can control it with the switch on the fireplace, the wireless remote, or my zwave controller.

This is how I wired it:

White/Black - hook up to your power source (120V AC)
Red/Blue - hook these up to the switch on your fireplace. This is normally open, and when you turn the module 'On' it will close the circuit just like if you flipped the toggle switch on your fireplace or pressed the on button on your remote.

When I first set it up, it was always on, no matter what my controller said. In the manual, there is a setting that says something about "if you are using a switch without an indicator light, you need to program it". It's possible to do this from the module itself by pressing the button on the back for 3 seconds and waiting for a flash. I set mine so there was 1 flash (no indicator) and after that it worked as expected.

So far so good....directions stink

Pros: Works well

Cons: Instructions could be better.

It took me a while to figure out how to get it to work, both using the manual switch as well as turning it on/off via the smartthings app. So far I've ordered 5 of these but have only had time to install 2. Installation takes about 20 min. for each switch start to finish.. Here's how you get this device to work:

Turn off your power!
1. Connect Green Wire to Switch.
2. Connect Red wire to the load wire that is going to the light you wish to control.
3. Connect the White wire to the neutral wire(s).
4. Connect the black and blue wires to the hot (live) wires coming in to the box. Also, run an additional hot wire from this bundle to the switch so the switch itself is hot.
5. Do nothing with the yellow wire.
6. Turn your power back on.
7. The device should have a blinking red light.
8. Connect your device to smartthings (or your hub).
9. If your switch DOES NOT have an indicator light built in (it probably does not), press and hold the program button on the back of the device for 4 seconds and let go, it should blink ONCE. This programs the device for use on a switch WITHOUT an indicator light, if it blinks twice that's for use on a switch WITH an indicator light.
10. Enjoy your new switch.

Wiring was a pain and then it didn't work.

Pros: If it was to work it would be great for two switches as intended.

Cons: The instructions on wiring are not clear. Suggest creating a video on a few different wiring setups for the masses.

I went online to find out how to wire this thing as the documentation isn't clear. Finally got it all wired up and it doesn't work.
