Monoprice Party Speaked

Pros: Self contained battery, protective corners, solid construction.

Cons: No tone control but tone of speaker is already terrific or terrifical as my daughter says for sound quality.

I was going to buy Bose $200.00 speaker but stuff came up and I waited till I heard some more speakers and none sounded as good. So the price was right on this speaker so I ordered it for the batteries I ordered from Monoprice were SO good of quality, I took a chance on oredering Party Speaker. Glad I did for it was the best sound I heard yet. How a 4 or 5 inch speaker can make a bass sound is impressive. It sounds better than my old Radio Shack 32-1152 of which is larger but just sound as good as Monoprice Party Speaker. All I can say is if it has Monoprice brand engraved on it , it is good quality. Maybe a graphic equalizer would raise the price but sound is great the way it is. KB1UKU, ~ I still give it a TEN for over all. I am sure in a year or two it will need a battery? How do one replace it? Just thought of that.

Bluetooth Speaker

Pros: Nice build, nice looking.

Cons: No tone control! If used at lower volume, the speaker is OK, Turn it up a bit, and its bass heavy and since there is no tone control, you are forced to lower the volume, or hear distorted music.

See above. Tone control, and a tweeter would have been nice. I had to return. Good thing is that Monoprice is awesome and it will continue to be my primary source for for the stuff they sell.

Party speaker

Pros: multiple connection options. Great sound. good bass

Cons: No option to daisy chain multiple speakers

Used it pool side at it was a huge hit at the party. Would recommend. Only critique would be to allow for connection to other speakers.

Poor Sound quality

I would not recommend this product. The sound quality is very poor at high output. I tried to cancel my order the same day due to negative reviews but Monoprice was not even decent enough to acknowledge my request.

Wow, What a Great Little Speaker!

Pros: Compact size, but BIG sound construction looks cool pairs easily with bluetooth devices.

Cons: No tone controls

I got this a few days ago and finally had a chance to try it out on the deck of a local bar. Works GREAT! The battery life seems long-lasting. It paired easily with my iPhone and a friend's Android phone. I found the sound to be rich and full, even w/o tone controls. I can't understand the other reviews that pan the sound...I think the sound may be very dependent on the quality of the source...I was using music and videos from YouTube and it sounded great. Great bang-for-the-buck, Monoprice!
