12 Inch Subwoofer Enclosure - Single Driver
Build your own subwoofer(s) for your car, boat, or RV using your choice of high quality driver and this premium 12-inch Subwoofer Enclosure from Monoprice! This enclosure is made of 12mm thick MDF. The outside is covered completely in gray carpet, while the inside features sound damping cotton/polyester fiber on each surface. It measures 15.4" tall and 15.7" wide. It is 16.5" deep at the base, 11.0" deep at the top, and the back has 70 degree angle. The internal capacity (volume) is 2380 cu in (39 liters) and the assembly weighs 24.8 lbs (11.23 Kg). It is pre-wired with 15.7" long 14AWG speaker wire on the inside and bare wire binding posts on the outside, which can accept speaker wire from 6-18AWG. The precut speaker hole accommodates standard, round 12" drivers. It has predrilled starter holes for the screws and includes 8 mounting screws in the package. This enclosure is front ported. Pros: Fits almost perfectly into my Accord 2014 sedan trunk. Great sound, seems really solid , good gage of wire inside the box with connectors that i had to cut since we don't need em to plug a sub.
