| | Ink works fine | Pros: 1/3 the price of original HP ink.
Cons: If you print more than one of any certain item, you can see a slight difference in the colors between items, but not enough to justify a 300% increase in price to use original ink.
Initially the printer did recognize the fact that the ink was not original. All I did was press "ok" letting the printer know I was aware of that fact. From that point on, the printer worked fine.

| | Worked 2 days then broke | Cons:
The ink worked for 2 days then I got a message on the printer's screen saying that there is something wrong with the ink or the printer.

For now, if possible, please try a couple of troubleshooting techniques with me to see if we can resolve your issue.
Have you tried it on another printer?
What about another cartridge?
Did you try cleaning the contacts?
Please let me know if the problems still occur. If it does, I can assist you in obtaining a replacement or a return RMA to see if a replacement will work better. We do have a lifetime warranty on cables as well as a 1 year warranty for everything else. And obtaining a replacement is of no additional cost. If you want to continue with an RMA just please provide the order# and if you wanted to return it or obtain a replacement. Thank you!

I did the following and seems like it worked. I just hope it doesn't go crazy and the error comes back.
- Removed the Monoprice bought cartridge. - Installed the original HP cartridge. - The printer started doing maintenance - Took out the cartridge and put the Monoprice on back - Again went into maintenance - After that the error was gone and I was able to print.
One thing to note is that the Monoprice cartridge spilled some ink while still installed, that I saw when I took it out the first time. I had to clean it first.

| | My first experience with monoprice.. does not work | Cons: does not work
printer does not recognize this cartridge. I ordered three cartridges, cyan works, magenta works, the yellow is not being recognized by the printer. Causing us so much pain because OfficeJet 6600 does not allow printing if even 1 single cartridge is missing/depleted, so we're stuck going back to costco and getting genuine ink. What a great first experience with monoprice.

I bought 5 cartridges and none of them worked. My machine did not recognize them as a valid cartridge.

by Anonymous I have tried another printer on my network. Printer works fine. The printer is brand new. I only used the cartridges supplied with the printer before I installed the Monoprice cartridges. The OEM cartridges work well.
I have not had an opportunity to try another Monoprice replacement cartridge since the OEM cartridges have not run out of ink yet.
