Dont use the velcro strap

Pros: Good price
It floats

Cons: The cheap Velcro strap can tear easily

Jumped into the lake and the strap tore off and I lost the camera. The float works just don't trust or use the supplied Velcro strap. I would also recommend not attaching it directly to the camera, maybe use short tether with some stretch in it so the shock of a fall or jumping in the water is absorbed instead of tearing or breaking something.

Pros: Floats (as advertised, lol)
Can attach on the back or bottom of the waterproof case

Brilliant and good price, it just works.

Cam Floaty Works Great

Pros: Far lower price than floaty sold by Go-Pro. Easy to attach to my Monoprice action cam durable. No deterioration after using it several times snorkeling in Tahiti.

Cons: None

Pros: fits camera, does not interfere with function, looks a lot better than attaching an empty plastic water bottle to the camera , also that water bottle can get in front of the camera, then you cannot get a pic. nice yellow color easy to see. looks durable.

Cons: have to remove float to get at the camera in the water tight housing

if you buy the camera (and i suggest you do the video is great) and you are using it to video your kayak forward stroke, then you will want to attach the camera behind you on your kayak pointing towards you. since you cannot see the camera when you are kayaking, it is important to have a flotation device on it. this float is inexpensive and works well. the only other item you might consider is a mount that gets the camera a little higher.
