This chest strap is mostly what you would hope/expect. It is utilitarian, relatively comfortable, and holds a camera on your chest.
I am, however, disappointed in the camera clip quality, as the release lever mechanism broke in the first few uses. The camera can still be mounted to the strap, but it would most likely not hold the camera on in the event of a sever jostle or a physical inversion (ie backflip, etc).

Camera points down somewhat
Unless I am missing something, there is no way to use the angle adapter so there is not much adjusting you can do if it doesn't sit right. I used it mountain biking and cinched it as tight as possible on my upper chest but the camera still angled down maybe 15 degrees. I ended up forcing my camelback chest strap under the camera which pulled it up to approximately level while standing. Since I was biking a few degrees up would have been ideal. If you look at the other brand mount, there is a large hard plate that the camera mounts to which prevents the camera from flopping around. Additionally, that mount has a tilt adjustment. Hopefully the next rev of this guy will include those features.

You are correct in that this mount does not allow for any tilt adjustment, unfortunately. The only adjustments provided would be for the straps. | | Must have mounting option for some high action activities | Pros: Secures camera in the front quiet well.
Cons: No strap bands so the straps just kind of hangs loosely
I don't have much to say about this, it's a solid option at a good price and a must have for activities like skiing, water sport, and riding in general.

| Pros: very good fit. adjusts easily. camera mount is secure as I'm mountain biking.
Cons: video view shows pointing down just a little further than I'd like. Mount could point up a little more on an angle for more straight forward viewing. Also, you have to run camera in upside down view.
Overall this is a great mount. Stays in place

| | Great option when renting equipment | Pros: Fit 6 foot man and 4 foot 9 inch kid
Cons: A little difficult to unmount the camera, bit you don't have to worry about it slipping off.
We took this skiing and did not have our own helmets, so this was a great option. It worked well for the week we used it. I'd recommend it to anyone getting the camera. You might need help putting it on over a ski jackey , but my wife, son and I all wore it and helped each other putting it on.
