3G SDI 1x2 Splitter
Designed for professional SMPTE video applications, this 3G SDI 1x2 Splitter allows you to distribute a single SDI video source to two SDI video monitors. This splitter supports bit rates up to 2.970 Gbps and supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI video signals.

| Pros: cheap, small, and easy to keep in your tool kit
Cons: not reliable past 12 months
i bought 2 of them,...i'm a television professional and i keep them in a padded pelican case in my tool kit (with other converters and devices) and have them on stand-by for jobs as needed. They have both failed at random times even though power lights have been on, then will magically start working again later.
One of the units has now failed completely and the 2nd unit i use only as a back-up on non critical items. I can't in good faith trust them anymore unfortunately.
Maybe these are from a bad batch or there has possibly has been a change or update that makes them better now
This is the first MonoPrice item that i have ever had any notable issue with and i have bought many, many, many items of the past 8 years or better with and it's not deterring me from buying other items.

| | Great for Small and Portable Systems | Pros: Seems to work to the 1080i limit of 300ft with high quality cable.
Very small and compact.
Cons: Has a power switch that could be accidentally turned off.
Works similar to units that are 4x the cost. Haven't tried it in all possible scenarios, but can't beat the price for most situations.
