| | Decent | Pros: The legs feel solid. Foam cover feels good. Low price.
Cons: The ball head is loose. After a while, it can't be completely tightened.
Feels decent for the price.

| Pros: Strong legs
Ball joint
good for the price
Cons: Ball joint doesn't seem to get tight enough, but I'm also putting a pretty hefty portable audio recorder on it that's probably over the recommended weight. would be perfect for smaller devices/cameras.
As I said in cons - the ball joint is nice, but with my recorder on it, it is really easy to slide around when it feels like I couldn't make it any tighter. If you plan on using anything pretty heavy, go for a different tripod. It wasn't really designed for it so I can't really complain about that as an issue. It works perfect for my smaller recorder.

| Pros: Legs work great, can use on a variety of uneven surfaces., or even hanging from something.
Cons: very weak plastic
the plastic broke where you tighten the ball joint broke when i tightened it so that the camera be locked in position and not slipping slowly forward, backward or to the side. because would avoid buying this. If it can't hold a small camera up without slipping, it's really not worth buying, unless you use it with a really light smart phone. DON'T BUY!
by Monoprice Administrator Hello Christopher,
Thank you for your review and my apologies to hear the plastic broke. Do you have your order number? If the item is within the return policy or 1 year warranty, I can help in setting up an RMA for a replacement. Just let me know and I can help in setting that up.

| | Excelelnt small tripod | Pros: Small, flexible, screws to standard tripod mount on camera
Cons: None
I needed a small tripod so I can setup and shoot images of myself and my bike while solo touring. It's nice to also get everyone in group pictures. So far this has been perfect. my compact point nd shoot cameras, extra batteries, ant this tripos will all fit into a quart sized ziplock baggie.

| | Great idea but ... | Pros: Great idea. Lightweight and flexible.
Cons: The ball head does not stay in place.
Light and convenient, but the little ball rotates even when the screw is very tight. It is so loose that I can push it around with my fingers and the camera tilts on its own. Wish this didn't happen since it is otherwise a nice product.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello,
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about the issues experienced with PID 10272. If I may ask, does there appear to be any physical defects on the tripod? Also, has this been an issue since you first received the product?
If you would like, I can assist you in obtaining a replacement to see if it will work better or a return RMA for store credit if preferred. We have a one year warranty on this tripod and obtaining a replacement is of no additional cost. If you want to continue with an RMA, please let me know if you wanted to return it for store credit or obtain a replacement. Thank you!
