Easy to use, toolless (no soldering or screwdriver req.) modular RJ-11 Keystone jack. To be used with keystone wall plate or panel.

WARNING! The current batch of these keystones have an incorrect wiring diagram on the cover (and in the current photos). The proper wiring should be, from left to right, white/green, blue, white/blue, green. We apologize for this error and are working to correct it as soon as possible.

Note that the width of the RJ11/12 keystones is such that two cannot be used side-by-side in the same wall-plate.

Pros: Pros: Easy to connect and place into a keystone wall plate.

Cons: Cons: A little big. No instructions.

I had a hard time getting good connections using 24g stranded wired. No problems when I switched to sold wire.

Pros: It is fast to use, Easy and Clean, no left over wires to cut.

Cons: the top cover to the wires is hard to remove., especially the first time.

I liked the product. easy to use. It was hard to figure out how to disassemble it at first,
It would be good to have preferred instructions with it.

Pros: It works (if you ignore the wiring diagram)

Cons: Too wide for side-by-side installation in a 4-hole keystone faceplate
    Cover is difficult to remove
Color doesn't match (it's almost white)

While it got the job done, this product doesn't come close to matching my experience with other Monoprice items. 'd prefer a punchdown-style keystone jack, but Monoprice doesn't seem to have one.

    Mostly-Functional at best

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Cheaply-MADE

Eh. I only ordered one of these, for a one-off job.
True, it is CLEARLY labeled on the order page that the wiring diagram is incorrect. However, my jack came with no colors whatsoever.
I had to sit there and try every combination until I got a proper signal.
Thankfully, this didn't take very long for my particular job.

The solid wire I used seems a little bit loose, but it is holding up. Of note, I stripped it and punched it in with small scissors, since by that point I had abandoned all traditional instructions and methods for this item.

I WAS in fact able to fit it side-by-side with an RJ45 keystone in a dual-port surface mount box (7089), with no problems.

For the price, it is adequate.

    Junk - don't order

    Pros: cheap

    Cons: terrible design

I bought 4 thinking I would just keep some spares. 1st thing is the cap is about impossible to get off. I broke the first one trying to just get it off. The second I wired up and it did not work. Came here and see the warning that the color codes on cap is wrong. IMHO if they know it's wrong Monoprice should not even be shipping these. Broke that cap trying to remove it to rewire correctly. On 3rd one, finally got it to work. It fits loosely in my keystone faceplate. I've been ordering for years from Monoprice without ever getting something so poorly made.
