    Don't buy cheap EBay cords

Pros: Powerful, Durable, Speedy, Length options, Color options in the upgraded versions.
I haven't had these long enough to comment on the wear, but the "shoulder" of the cord seems to have "slotted" sections to it to fold as the cord folds to ADD to its durability while using the phone and charging at the same time.

Cons: None that I have experienced yet.

After purchasing multiple cords from EBay and receiving what amounted to chargings cable that would simply maintain/trickle new battery life, I decided it was time to spend a few more dollars. I did the research. I found MonoPrice. The 28/24 AWG was the key to getting a product that could charge at the intended speed of my device. How am I sure? Get a monitoring app that shows the amperage of power incoming and you'll know when your cords are damaged internally. Cheap cords got me 700-1100 maH of power input, this cord gets me 1600-1800. BIG difference. Did I spend a lot more? Actually not....I got myself a few, for different charging stations - and saved on shipping this way. Thanks.

Pros: Price, quality of construction, performance, fast and cheap shipping.

Cons: None noted at this time.

This 6' 28/24 AWG with ferrite core USB cable really does an outstanding job. Works as good or better than the OEM cable plus with the addition of the ferrite core you no longer will notice any screen interference from the wall power supply. When tested with a multimeter during charging, the Amps and Volts output both are as high or higher than the cable supplied with the device. Is this the best cable on the market? Probably not, but at this price point and quality I don't see a reason to spend the big money for just a small improvement. I have only been using it for less than a month so longevity of the product is still in question. For now it seems like a good choice for a replacement USB cable.

Well made but can't use in the dark

Pros: Well made, work perfectly, good price

Cons: Would be much more useful if the connector were asymmetrical so could be correctly oriented by touch (especially in the dark).
