    Cuts clutter
Shorty cables are great for neatly interconnecting modems, routers, etc., and for half a buck, why not?

    Very clean for adjacent equipment
I have my LAN gear mounted side by side on a shelf and it was very handy to get short color-coded jumpers to tie the boxes together. Good color selection and cheap enough to be worth saving time constructing from parts.

Works perfectly, this is the ideal cable to use for cable/dsl modems to router setups, very short no overhang.

Cheap enough to not worry about it...
Every networkable device comes with cable, but it's often too long and needs to be bunched up with cable ties, but that's still a mess. These cables are sized to your needs so you get the length you are going to use and that's it. Its cheap enough that if you make a mistake you can just order the next size up.

short jumper nice for tidy router installation
I added another wired circuit to my home LAN and included this cable to continue a tidy installation between router and the wall jack on the closet shelf of network gear. The short Monoprice jumper cables work fine and look much nicer than coiling up extra feet of cable for the long ones that typically come with peripherals. Color coding is useful for remembering which cable runs to which room.

PROS: short length to keep remote router installation tidy
    color coding for circuit organization

    CONS: none in particular
