270° 8-Watt (40W Equivalent) A 19 LED Bulb, 630 Lumens, Cool/ Daylight (6000K) - Non-Dimmable (6-Pack)

Get a longer lasting, safe, and affordable alternative to incandescent or CFL light bulbs using this 6-Pack of 8-watt A19 LED Bulbs from Monoprice!

This LED bulb uses only 8 watts of power, but produces 630 lumens of light energy at 6000K, equivalent to a standard 40-watt incandescent bulb. It uses the E26 "medium" Edison screw base, which is the standard home screw-in bulb type we're all used to. This indoor bulb is 2.4" in diameter and 5.1" tall and has an 85 ~ 265 VAC operating range.

The bulb features a shatter resistant polycarbonate lens, which is designed to withstand ordinary drops and falls, and a 100% aluminum heat sink. It uses the superior Epistar diodes, is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use before failure, and carries a three year replacement warranty.

The bulb generates light in the 6000K range (Color Rendering Index greater than 80) with an impressive beam angle of 270°, which is a cool, bluish light that is perfect for high-visibility illumination needs, such as in a workshop or bathroom. This bulb is not designed to be dimmable. While it may be physically dimmed in some light fixtures, doing so can damage the bulb's internal circuitry and severely reduce its expected life span.

Each order includes six, individually packaged bulbs.

Monoprice warrants these bulbs for a full THREE (3) YEARS and will provide a new replacement for any bulbs that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.

Good value LED bulbs

Pros: Affordable
Cool white colour

Cons: Had one (of eight) start sizzling and produce smoke.
Small delay until they turn on (1s)

The most affordable bulbs I've come across. They produce a nice white, not too cool like LEDs, but not too warm like incandescent. I preferred higher 6500K CFL's but these are definitely my go-to now.

I wouldn't put them on a dimmer at all, even if you aren't going to use the dimmer function. I don't know if the dimmer is bad or if it's just the nature of the combo, but I've had a few bulbs die very quickly and one even started sizzling/producing smoke until I removed it from the housing. I've since changed to a regular switch and all is well so far.

Thank you for your review on PID 12114! I just wanted to mention that we strongly recommend against using non-dimmable LED bulbs with a dimmer. Doing so can damage the bulb and/or circuit even when the intensity is not adjusted. I hope this helps and should you have any questions regarding our products, please don't hesitate to contact our tech support team via live chat or email!

Bright Efficient LED Bulbs A Real Value

Pros: Bright
Cool White
Solid Value

Cons: More Expensive Than Incandescents

Seems solid and well-made. Turns on quickly - if there is any delay it is very short. Bright light. I like the cool blueish color, but you will notice the difference if you use it in the same room with warmer lights. These were a good value at the sale price with 15% discount and free shipping but still more expensive than incandescent or CFL bulbs. Only time will tell if they are long life, and if energy savings will recoup the higher price.

Pros: Nice quailty, real look, well made feeling

Cons: Besides a split second delay there isn't any.

I didn't have high hopes for that bright of light and couldn't believe it when it turned on. I've had other LED replacements but none of them compare to this one. The quality and look seem excellent. I think the bulb is real glass as well. I bought one for to try and just ordered another case.

Great bulbs!

Pros: Produces a bright daylight like light in a room
Sturdily made
cheap for LED bulbs

Cons: Takes a couple seconds to fire up (just a couple not a huge deal)

I like the light that these bulbs put out and I really like how little power they use. I'm phasing out all of my compact fluorescent bulbs with these LED bulbs because of the energy savings and because I like the light they put out better.
