    Deluxe GigBag for Electric Guitar

Carry your guitar in style with this Deluxe GigBag for Electric Guitar from Monoprice!

This guitar bag is sized to fit most solid-body electric guitars, including the Monoprice California Classic, Retro Vision, and Route 66 guitars. It is made of heavy duty 600D nylon. Each seam is reinforced with a bead, so the bag will not come apart.

The bag measures approximately 6" wide at the neck and 13" wide on the body. It is about 40" long, top to bottom, and about 3" thick. It is generously padded on all sides and is lined with nylon for maximum protection. An 8" square canvas patch is sewn into the inside of the bag, right above the bridge, so the sharp metal parts will not rip into the nylon lining. A similar patch is sewn into the bag above teh headstock, to keep the tuning pegs and string ends from ripping or tearing the fabric. A soft, wide loop at the top of the bag wraps around the neck to keep it securely in place.

The front of the bag features two primary pockets and two thin, secondary pockets. The interior of the upper primary pocket measures about 12" tall by 4" wide and the lower primary pocket measures about 12" tall by 10" wide. Each primary pocket has about 1" interior thickness. The secondary pockets are outside the primary pockets and are more suited for thin items, such as strings, picks, sheet music, etc.

The back of the bag features two adjustable shoulder straps, so you can carry your guitar on your back. A nylon loop handle above the shoulder straps is suited for hanging the bag and a windowed pocket is perfect for inserting a business or ID card. On the side is a reinforced nylon handle with plastic wrapping for a firm, comfortable grip.

    Good padding
I like the bag. It has many pockets and it's padded on all sides (including the sides). My only worry is the zipper on the bottom. One of the reviewer said it opened on him and his guitar slid out. Seems like good rock solid zipper, but I'm a little worried.

    PROS: Padded

    CONS: None

    Gig Bag Review over time
When these first came out, I bought one and loked it. I now have 4 of them for my various solid body guitars. The zippers are starting to fall apart. The most recent bag purchases in november, 2014 has pretty much had it. The accessory pouch zipper continues to chew away at itself and will not open unless you really yank on it and there is a noce hole in the material where it has been grabbing. Another case is having problems with the main compartment. It has not completely failed but is certainly destined to happen any time now.

    PROS: Lots of padding

    Good quality canvas

    CONS: Zippers are failing

    PROS: More than adequate padding

CONS: Just a large "Monoprice" logo on the from of the bag.

    gig bags
I would recommend these to all guitar players.

PROS: I love these bags. I have traveled with these bags and have no worries that my guitars will be damaged. They do a great job, and they look good, too.

    CONS: None.

    Seems to be well built
I just got this guitar case in a few moments ago and since it has no reviews I decided to put up an initial impressions review. The case seems well made, has enough padding for a gig bag. It is definitely a step up from just a simple sac I used to use. I wouldnt throw the guitar around, but to and from locations it should hold up just fine. There are four pockets and plenty of room for extra cables and maybe a couple small pedals on the top.

My one complaint is the size. My Epiphone g-400 barely fits. There isn't even any finger-space at the top. If your guitar is any longer it will not fit. Even then, I feel like the size is perfect for my guitar since it leave no wiggle room.

Last little benefit is a soft neck strap inside the case to keep it from wobbling around too much.

    PROS: Sturdy zippers

    Quality materials

    Lots of pockets

    Felt neck strap

    CONS: Small

    Great Gig Bag
I have many guitars and use gig bags because I usually need to grab several for my gigs. I thought I'd take a chance on this bag and I'm gad I did. It's as good as any bag I've purchased for less than $100. I now have a couple of them.

PROS: Generous storage pockets, good padding and the zippers work nice.

CONS: A bit roomy for some of my real slender solid bodies but not too loose.

It says MONOPRICE on the front pouch. Black gaffer's tape takes care of that.

    Great bag, great price
Monoprice pays attention to the little details. This bag is well padded, plenty of extra pockets, rugged zippers, and a soft velcro wrap to hold your headstock in place. I especially like the padded backpack style straps for comfortably carrying my guitar across campus. I have another competitor's bag that cost double but is nowhere near as nice as this.

    PROS: Paddle shoulder straps
    Many pockets
    Velcro headstock restrainer
    Well padded

    CONS: None
