Superb Quality, Reliability and Unbelievable Value

Pros: Quality, Design, Construction, Reliability, Value, Appearance

    Cons: Absolutely none

Generally speaking, as far as Monoprice cables go, there is no reason to buy any other cables, any other make, or from anywhere else. I've noticed other reviews of these particular cables (snakes) mention a lack of stress relief, but I've also noticed those reviews say they stand up to abuse much better than most people would expect. In my case, these cables run from my patchbay to my mixing desk or to equipment in racks so there permanently in place. never had an issue with them at all. And as for Monoprice cables in general, these cables are amazing, and amazing value too. I use nothing but Monoprice cables in my project studio. They cost a fraction of what alternative cables cost, and I would honestly pay much more for these cables instead of buying other cables - the fact that they cost less than other cables is unbelievable. used Monoprice cables exclusively for years, always work just as they should.

Exceeded Low Expectations and Performs Well

    Pros: -Road tough
    -Color Coded
    -Quality sound

    Cons: -No stress relief
    -Easily tangle

I run sound in two bars 4-6 times a week. Gear easily gets trampled and beaten up in these venues so I needed 4 cheap looms that could be easily replaced without too much worry about damage. I bought these 9/22/2015 and have used them every week for the past 7 months. So far I've only had to resolder / repair two connectors on one loom. These things are way tougher than I could ever imagine. They've got tangled, beer/liquids spilled on them, stepped on, dropped, ripped out of patchbays, the whole gamut. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. They sound great too.

10ft 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable

Pros: Works Good for short runs (like with 4-pack wireless microphone kits like a Vocopro 5800 Wireless System)
    The price is unbeatable

Cons: Not really utilizing the stress relievers
Could be easily damaged, must handle with care

I would not mind paying more if the product had stress relievers so the connectors would last longer. For the price, it does the job and I am satisfied with it, but I bought an extra one just incase. I recommend you buy 2, once one brakes, fix or just buy another one. It is cheap enough to do. For permanent install's this product is perfect.

Pros: GREAT price, and well-constructed cables, considering their price.

Cons: Lack of strain relief at each end means the cables will begin to break connections, after some use. I keep spares around and replace them about every 6 months, or re-solder them, as needed. At this price, it is almost a non-issue, as long as I check them regularly.

These are good (not to be confused with great) cables for the price, and I buy them any time I need a short snake, for a project, and recommend them to others, regularly.

Fantastic value for a small 4 XLR snake - really cleans up my runs from my interface/board to drum set mics in my home studio, and make great extension whips coming off the back of a live board to clean up the connections on a large venue show setup.
