3ft 4-Channel XLR Male to XLR Female Snake Cable

Get 4-channel, professional, balanced audio XLR cable snakes from Monoprice for less than you're used to paying for each XLR cable alone!

These XLR cable snakes feature four sets of male-to-female XLR cables assembled into a single, soft and durable, cable jacket. Each XLR connector has a silver metal housing and is connected with a color coded wire, so you can quickly and easily make the right connections the first time, every time.

The cables are colored red, blue, white, and yellow. The connector housings are metal with plastic and rubber cable boots to reduce strain on the physical connection. Each cable carries a lifetime guarantee, so you can trust you'll always have a properly working cable, when you buy them from Monoprice!

There is currently an error on the packaging showing this to be an STP-XLR cable, while clearly the cable is an XLR-XLR type. Note that the packaging is incorrect and is in the process of being corrected.

    Stellar Short XLR Snake

Pros: Quality connectors, unbelievably inexpensive, sounds fine, good construction, color coded.

Cons: Unbundled part of the wires are a little thin.

I don't quite understand how MonoPrice can sell this quality of a product for such a low price. Maybe that is why it is often out of stock. When we needed 8 channels of 3 foot XLRs for a multi channel direct box, I found these gems. Two of these 4 channel snakes was less than what I had fear I would half to pay for 2 single cables. Since they were so inexpensive, i ordered 2 extra and will use them in another system. They work well and have quality connectors.

Used for ATMOS Home Theater XLR balanced connections

    Pros: Tight, flexible, quiet, cheap

Cons: Only con specific for my set up is 2 of my XLR inputs are at the opposite ends of the amp and with that "spread" it just reaches.

I have been upgrading a Home Theater to ATMOS for about a year now..And always trying to get that "little bit better" SQ. But with 11 channels to contend with going XLR balanced can get quite expensive. I decided to try a pair of these 4 channel sets.. For the price there is not much risk. So, how do i like them? I'll just put it this way. I removed my $200 a pair RCA interconnects and $150 a pair XLR interconnects and installed these...the others are still in the drawer. These really help with the wire clutter behind the amps , and are "dead" quiet.. I am very happy. I do still do use "audiophile" quality XLR's for my front L&R speakers. But for the surrounds and ceiling speakers these are great. i am very happy.

Pros: GREAT price, and well-constructed cables, considering their price.

Cons: Lack of strain relief at each end means the cables will begin to break connections, after some use. I keep spares around and replace them about every 6 months, or re-solder them, as needed. At this price, it is almost a non-issue, as long as I check them regularly.

These are good (not to be confused with great) cables for the price, and I buy them any time I need a short snake, for a project, and recommend them to others, regularly.
