1.5ft Premier Series XLR Male to XLR Female 16AWG Cable (Gold Plated) [Microphone & Interconnect]

Monoprice’s line of Professional Audio cables brings you high performance cables at rock bottom prices.  Whether you’re connecting broadcast equipment, instruments for your band or your high end entertainment system, Monoprice has the interconnect cables for you.

Balanced audio cables utilize impedance balanced lines that reduce EM and RF noise and extend the effective range of the cable run.  Additionally, unlike standard unbalanced RCA interconnects that utilizes their braid as a signal return, balanced cables have a separate braided shield to provide additional resistance to interference without modulating the interference into the signal.  This prevents ground loop issues.

Our XLR male to female cables continue our tradition of bringing the highest quality cables at the best prices.  These cables feature thick, heavy gauge wires, gold plated connectors and sturdy connector housings.

1,5 ft. Premier Series XLR Male to XLR...
This is an excellent XLR cable, very high built quality with very low price. Hard to beat. Also there are not many XLR cable offerings in the market with cable length of 1.5 ft.

PROS: Inexpensive, gold plated, excellent built quality

    Excellent Cables, even better price.
These are excellent cables regardless of price. The fact that they are so cheap makes them an absolute steal. I found the connectors myself to be a perfect fit. Not too tight or loose. Bought a dozen for my HT setup, and work perfect. Cable is real soft and flexible too, nice thick rubber jacket to protect the wiring. 2 thumbs up!

PROS: Great connectors, gold plated, soft, thick flexible jacket great for tight spaces, PRICE!

    XLR Cables
These are my first XLR cables. Used to be a "higher end" cable guy, buying AudioQuest and expensive online brands.

Having not used XLR cables before, I have nothing to compare them too. But the connections fit into my Sunfire amp and Integra prepro perfectly. The connectors look decent. The cables are oddly enough VERY flexible which I found surprising, but maybe that's how XLR's are?

I can say I used to use AudioQuest RCA cables with Ultralink connectors and if I pressed my ears to my speakers there was a slight hum. With these XLR cables, it is DEAD silent. I only need 1.5 foot cables, so the old "length" argument doesn't apply. If you have XLR connections, use them, especially now that you can get XLR cables so cheap from Monoprice.

good cables at a great price
these are great for connecting a direct box or adding a little length to re-patch a cable that's too short.

PROS: nice short cables for patching.

    Solid connectors
This was bought to connect a Mackie DLz-1402 to a crown amplifier both seated in a Gator brand 10x8 travel case. The connections are incredibly snug but not dangerously so, they are easily removed by hand yet the definitive "click" in the seating of both ends is great. The sound these cables allow to flow through them is equivalent to a high end cable to the naked ear. These are great for live performances or personal recording (this system was put together for a worship team that plays and transports the equipment every week). I have no experience with these in professional recording setting.

Overall these are great strong cables and are MORE THAN WORTH the low price that these are offered for.

PROS: Thick, strong connections, snug fitting connectors, nice 'seat' into board and amp connections, sound just a good to the naked ear as any high end cable.

CONS: Connectors are clamped on with screws rather than the typical neutrix style screw off, however this is a very minimal personal preference.
