PROS: Great Product, Great Price!
PROS: Great connectors, gold plated, soft, thick flexible jacket great for tight spaces, PRICE!
Having not used XLR cables before, I have nothing to compare them too. But the connections fit into my Sunfire amp and Integra prepro perfectly. The connectors look decent. The cables are oddly enough VERY flexible which I found surprising, but maybe that's how XLR's are?
I can say I used to use AudioQuest RCA cables with Ultralink connectors and if I pressed my ears to my speakers there was a slight hum. With these XLR cables, it is DEAD silent. I only need 1.5 foot cables, so the old "length" argument doesn't apply. If you have XLR connections, use them, especially now that you can get XLR cables so cheap from Monoprice.
PROS: Awesome value good product
PROS: High Quakity and quick shipping says it all
Completely recommend Monoprice for your cabling needs!
PROS: Arrive Quickly
PROS: nice short cables for patching.
Overall these are great strong cables and are MORE THAN WORTH the low price that these are offered for.
PROS: Thick, strong connections, snug fitting connectors, nice 'seat' into board and amp connections, sound just a good to the naked ear as any high end cable.
CONS: Connectors are clamped on with screws rather than the typical neutrix style screw off, however this is a very minimal personal preference.
