Whether you are DJing or just spinning some tunes, a mixer allows you to provide seamless musical entertainment. It does a job. A couple of problems though.

Pros: Pros: Like I said, the volume and adjust knobs and sliders feel tight and have smooth action.

Cons: Cons: Grounding?!? and power switch location.

So this mixer looks alright and feels good in the hands. The switches and sliders feel smooth and tight. Everything feels and looks right...
Until I bumped the power button during a wedding and the music went off... The Power Switch shouldn't be on the front.
Until I started getting a buzz and realized that even though my record players are screwed into the ground on this mixer..... THERE IS NO GROUND?!? (I am in the process of fixing that and then it will be a fine 50 dollar mixer. Heck, it will be a fine 100 dollar mixer.

That's why I buy monoprice again and again.

Pros: USB interface was very easy. Plug and play for Windows 7 and 10

Cons: No Headphone volume. Cue to preview your mix is cumbersome.
    Build feels a little cheap.

A majority of Monoprice products are great. This one just misses the mark.
Gains and control's were noisy and sensitive.
No Headphone volume. Cue to preview your mix is cumbersome.

Pros: Cheap, connects all you need into 1 single unit.

Cons: No master headphone mix like most mixers.

Great for just simple stuff but to really be able to use it you need to be able to monitor the master output in the headphones.

This is a great mixer for the price, especially when on sale. Feels solid and sounds good. I only found two small negatives with the mixer. The EQs are not full-kill, they're -24dB. Also, the headphone output volume is low even at full volume, not really suited for mixing in loud environments. If those are not a concern, I would definitely recommend this unit.

This mixer feels solidly built for the most part, and the phono preamps and USB DAC produce reasonably good audio with very little noise detectable by my speakers. The only downside that strikes me is that the toggle switches to select input feel a bit cheap. In general I'd definitely recommend this.
