Great strobe, can't beat the price.

PROS: Extremely bright, lightweight, low power consumption. Much sturdier than xenon flashtube. Doesn't heat up.

CONS: Need ability to daisy-chain multiple strobes.

50-Watt LED Strobe Light Product Number: 612550
This strobe light is incredibly powerful! For $50, you can't beat the brightness or intensity!

PROS: Bright, powerful strobe light. Durable construction

    CONS: Not DMX controllable.

    50-Watt LED Strobe Light
I wish I could give this an 11. I dj as a hobby, and had an American DJ 750watt strobe. I say HAD. This LED strobe was AMAZING. I would say it's somewhere around twice as intense as my now former 750 watt ADJ strobe. So bright and the strobe on/off so crisp, it caused me a bit of vertigo and nausea when I lit it off in a small room. You absolutely cannot look directly at it.

PROS: Brighter than any professional strobe I've used before

    Very rugged commercial grade construction

CONS: No off switch, no DMX (but for the price, it's still an 11) Two knobs - strobe rate and volume sensitivity. Must be used with some external on/off - light controller or simple power strip.

    50-Watt LED Strobe Light
This is a very powerful strobe light that provides big room coverage. Good quality and build construction and very affordable!

PROS: Powerful Strobe! Almost equivalent to a 200 watt + non-led strobe light. You get so much for the price!

CONS: Some connectors aren't soldered inside and has a chance of getting loose during transport. Easy fix though.

    Very bright
This thing is bright and fast.

PROS: Big, heavy duty construction, fast

CONS: Only con would be the on/off knob. It seems backwards. To turn it on you have to click the knob to the short side, but to turn it off it has a lot of play on the knob. Nothing crazy just thought it was weird.

    Bright
    Bright LED. Tough construction.

    PROS: Extremely bright. Quality build.

CONS: Would be willing to pay a little more for a DMX controlled version.

    Great overall, but not perfect
As a mobile DJ, I bought this to replace my old American DJ Snap Shot strobe and strobe controller that was a hassle to hook up at every gig. I've only used this a few times, and I'm still trying to decide if that was the right decision.

Unlike my other lights, there are no hand-knobs to tighten the hanging bracket I need to bring an adjustable wrench for that.

In addition, the control and speed knobs are not labeled, which leads to some guesswork at times. It's not always easy to get it to go at the right pace.

Having said that, for $50, this is a very effective strobe light, and it is BRIGHT. If you're just sitting this at an easily accessible height where the knobs are in reach, definitely go for it. You may want to keep looking if you hang it above the crowd, although honestly, I'm not sure if you can beat this price.

    PROS: Very bright

CONS: Control knobs are not labeled on the unit

Mounting bracket must be tightened with tools

VERY BRIGHT, but slow to start up.
I really like these stobes, I have two, and WOW Bright.
But I use them for Halloween and DJ stuff, so that means I control them with the AC cord to start and stop them. well the dc power supply needs 2 to 3 seconds to power up, well that is way to long to pulse to music.
I have four other brand LED flood lights that are instant on and off. they work great, but these are too slow.

PROS: VERY BRIGHT, dont look into one or you will be sorry.
    Good mounting,
    Slim profile.
    Sound activated works well.

CONS: The 36vdc power supply on one, had broken its mount and was flopping around in side.
    Very slow power up.

Unfortunately received this item and right out of box could not get it to strobe with any control over frequency, duration or speed. Despite working every option using the two adjustment knobs provided (and poor instructions), could only get unit to flash once periodically. Occassionally, it would flash at a higher frequency for 1-2 seconds and then stop. Long time customer with Monoprice and this is my first complaint (and hopefully my last). Biggest issue is wanting to use for upcoming Halloween party and now doubt that will be possible, as assume the return process takes more than a week.

PROS: Unit appears well constructed, heavy/durable. Strobe (when works) is very bright.

CONS: Believe delivered with something wrong with controls. Very poor written instructions.
